Help identifying bud sites

I know it's about as basic as it can get, but I'm having trouble identifying where buds will develop.

I've read a couple articles on the anatomy of the plant and even happened upon this really helpful image as part of this guide:

Yet here i am staring at my canopy; not really sure which part is which and feeling dumb.

Anyways I would really appreciate if someone could put some dots on the attached image or point me towards some additional articles I could read.

Thank you mr.furley! Some potentially dumb follow up questions but this is where I'm at in life/we all start somewhere.

So buds will grow everywhere I see these places where it looks like the pre flower pic/the part you circled? Or only off this one because it's a main branch?
 
Thanks for clarifying. My plants aren't as nice as some of the beauties i see here but they're still alive and the only thing I've ever grown from seed.
 
Well I can rebuttal by saying your plants not done yet, you are going to love this!
How long till you flip to 12/12?
 
Most recently my plan was to take some clones and then flip in about 10 days. Now I'm thinking maybe just flower in 10 days and take clones right before harvest. Didn't realize that was a thing before.
 
Monster cropping is a thing, but cloning before flowering is a easier leaving curve. Have you looked into keeping a mother plant?
 
I did look into mother plants a bit. Can't really remember why I moved away from that plan. Think it had something to do with space required
