Help!! Dwc jock horror and ak48

I have a dwc setup. Plants are. Growing well for two weeks now but some. Of the leafs have a deformity and yellow spots, started nitrients 1/4 of the normal dose advance nutrients auto ph combo and some green mold is visible. On the clay rocks. Should I worry? Help please.

That's probably algae, you need to have those net pots covered. What's your ppm/EC? How about pH? You NEED to know these when growing in DWC. I'm not familiar with AN so not sure how well the "pH perfect" nutes work.

Hello GuuZe, I use AN pH perfect nutes, and I'm very happy with them. I usually start lower than 1/4 the recommended amount, and I never reach the full amount they recommend.


Yes, cover the tops of the pots with something like this:

You don't want algae growing from exposure to light.
