You can try to get one out without hurting the other to try and save both, but they're pretty close it would suck to kill both. I have grown two like that once. I had put a sprout in and it didn't come up so I put another one and they both came up lol I was outside though

This actually happens to me more often than not when I think I have a dud seed. It has happened 4 times in the last year alone. I'll plant a few and they all come up but one, give it a few more days and still nothing so I call it a dud. The next time I plant (usually 1 month later) I reuse that soil with the "dud" seed in there somewhere and I'll be damned if there aren't 2 sprouts in the cup/pot within a few days nearly every time. When there's enough room to safely transplant the volunteer I will but this last time they were about as close as OP's and I didn't want to risk damaging one or both of the babies so I just trained them to grow away from each other and it worked very well.

LOL i should of not bothered looking for the la berry fruita i was placing a seed and dropped it into one pot already planted heck dug through that for 15min looking for it. Found it and placed it into it's own pot only to be male.
