Hello GWE family

Thanks alltatup,
Yes they are bagseed. I want to say girl scout cookie maybe? They smell a bit like sweet diesel. Not big hugs but that is most likely environmental. Poor soil and high heat. Temps consistently 80+. I wasn't planning on growing indoor until winter but who am I kidding? I couldn't wait. Lol

One of my main reasons for getting solar panels this past year was to grow. I keep the AC at 74, the grow room is slightly higher, but it definitely helps the grow.

My room is in my garage. Not ideal but it's what I have to work with. If all goes as planned I'll have an air conditioner by next summer. Despite the heat the nugs are dense.

Shoot, these plants have been surviving in hot conditions for millenia, I just think when we create these "artificial conditions" for them, we have to make them as optimal as we can. If you got dense nugs, you gone have some bomb smoke!!!!

When I decided to make a run without ac I figured as long as the air exchange was adequate and sufficient quality of light was present it would work.
Heck I grow outdoor in 110+ and they love it.

I get really confused sometimes, especially when I read about how they grow and cure cannabis in other cultures, and prolly been doing it that way for a long time. I think as an indoor grower, I try to create optimal conditions WITHIN MY LIMITATIONS--we all have them unless we're wealthy. Of course, the game is kind of changing with these rising temperatures...

I explain it to my wonderful wife like this, yes it will grow without any of this fancy equipment. Yes it will grow without any of the "extra" stuff I feed it. But the results when properly cared for and pampered are astounding. Potency, flavor, overall quality and quantity is at it's potential. That's what we strive for. Maximizing the full potential of the genetics.

PREEEEE cisely. Growing weed really has become a science and an art in our culture--which is just different from how other cultures do it, cuz we do have all the technology. So I guess she doesn't smoke, huh...

Consistent high temperatures don't seem to be affecting trichome production 🤗

So why do you sprinkle your buds with granulated sugar? Is that kinda like adding molasses to the water?

; )

The sample I tried was not even close. Then they push out a bunch more hairs yesterday. I think it's shifting gears and now going into the sativa side of the hybrid. The trichomes haven't progressed noticeably just a little here and there have gotten more cloudiness. But bulking up and filling out. I'll gladly wait. 😁
Thanks for stopping by. Cheers Californiakid

That's what I experienced with my sativa. I was trying little bits in my pipe from about week 15 forward, and not a thing. Then at the end of week 17, WHAM!!! Of course, you won't have to wait that long.

Her time has come ! Found a couple of bananas(2) while checking trichomes. Trichs were mostly cloudy/milky so hanging she is.

Not much by way of roots. Sifting through the poor excuse for soil I found lots of fine roots but not what I've seen in my outdoor grows. Already have better soil in play for the next grow. And feeding the soil microbes also part of the new and improved plan.
