I'm having a heat problem, does someone has a review on usage of mini coolers inside the tent?

What's your RH? I don't know how these work but the basic principle of air conditioning is to extract moisture from air to cool, with the exception of swamp coolers. I struggled with temperatures too until I finally got a decent exhaust fan.

PuravidaC I have a good exhaust vent, I'm buying 2 clip fans and probably installing a mini vent to air the inside of my tent. My problem is that I live in a really hot place (right now it's 90F outside and the RH it's standing between 55-75%. I know that it'll get better since we're in the end of summer and my vega should do okay with high temperatures and not so low RH, but the problem it's when they bloom.

I'm trying to control heat the cheapest way as possible, I really don't want to buy an air conditioner.
OBS: I already have a digital dehumidifier but he doesn't cool the room at all.

At 43 degrees north latitude, I will never grow again in summer without an air conditioner. It is worth the price to me in order to get many years of grow area control.

I do not have experience with a unit like the one you are showing.

Someone here (sorry, can't remember who) had a post of a homemade swamp cooler using an "igloo cooler" with two 4" holes drilled in the top, added 4" PVC pipes with fan to blow air through the cooler loaded with ice. I thought that was pretty innovative.

I struggle with heat later in the year. Ultimately I think Flockshot is right that A/C is the way to go. One thing I've done in a pinch is to prop a large freeze pack over my intake vent. My intake vent is driven by a computer fan so it pulls air over the freeze pack as it brings it into the tent. The freeze pack only lasts a couple of hours but for my small tent (2x4) it got me a 5-10 degree temp drop which saved my ass a few times.

Others have posted the homemade swamp cooler idea on here (a cooler with a fan hooked up to your tent). I've always been curious as to whether using that approach with freeze packs rather than ice would help control the humidity add of the swamp cooler...

Dunno if a homemade air conditioner is a good idea because of the RH (it certainly won't turn the tent more dry). I've seen the guide too and it's really impressive/low cost.

I'm definitely not buying an air conditioner and the vent isn't getting the temperature down, that's why I'm asking for a review on these mini coolers. I know that's not a good idea to depend on them but I'm almost without options.
