I have a big problem with a six footer. It got in an over watered condition because of poor drainage. Usually when it gets very hot here it is very dry heat like 0 humidity and it is almost impossible to over water. On the one plant somehow the drainage got messed up. The soil is wet but all day yesterday and day before she was very wilted. I gave no water because soil is wet. 108 yesterday and gonna be 106 today 30% humidity. Plant is fine now but when sun comes up I am sure it will wilt again. I thought it was gonna die yesterday, wilting and leaves turning yellow. It is in a 80 gallon ceramic pot. I am thinking about taking a piece of rebar and knocking holes in the bottom and then a good flush. Soil 6 inches down is pegged wet on moist meter now. A good flush or should I wait and see? I am afraid it can,t take another big wilt today. She is fine now but sun is just coming up and it will be 100 soon.
