Hash Bag Size

I got some hash bags the other day. I was sent sizes 73, 220, and a 25 Micron. I noticed you start with a size 73 bag in your directions. Is the 25 micron bag gonna work, or is it to fine a mesh?

Howdy nelson, The 25 micron bag (smallest opening size) will give You the cleanest or purest (mostly tricomes and less plant matter) than the larger bags. I use the 25 and 75 micron bags, some methods recommend using 160 or the 220 size, but I prefer the results using the smaller ones.

Start with the largest micron bag and work your way down to the smallest. Like DW2 said the smaller the micron the more pure the hash gets (less plant matter). However, all are usable to eat/smoke.

Stoney Tony, You should start with the smallest opening (25 micron) bag, If You start with any larger size, the larger plant particles will pass thru with the trichomes. The trichomes are smaller in size than the pieces of plant material, so in order to separate them out, the smallest size bag should be used first.

Not for me. I've been making ice hash for 20-years. I like having the different grades. I use them for different projects. That's why they come in kits of 3,5,7 bags
