You're question intrigues me...

You may know that the MiracleGro line doesn't have a lot of snob appeal in the growing community. The classic scenario seems to be someone using just MG All Purpose and having less than great results, but I suspect that a lot of that may be attributable more to inexperience than fertilizer brand.
And first off, congratulations on growing healthy plants with your current regimen. Results are all that matters, so it looks like you are doing things right.
Anyway, I have been using Nebula's recommended General Hydroponics 3-bottle FloraSeries feeding regimen (plus CALiMAGic Ca/Mg supplement, but let's not talk about that now). They are about $8 a bottle.
FloraSeries in Nebula's recommended ratios has worked great for me both for hydroponics and for coco coir.
MiracleGro is easier to find and look like it costs less, so I was wondering if you could mix up dosages equivalent to the GH regimen. (That was the intriguing part.)
Below is a comparison, with label numbers on the left and ratios on the right.
What's immediately obvious to me is that:
- MG doesn't offer something with relatively more potassium (K)
- MG doesn't offer something with very little or no nitrogen
- MG nutes have trace elements ("micronutrients) in all three offerings, whereas GH has micros only in FloraMicro.
- MG nutes all contain NPK+micros, so they'd be safe to use alone for some time (whereas GH FloraBloom, for example, has no nitrogen or micronutrients and FloraMicro has no phosphorous, which is to say the GH nutes really are each 1/3 of a system, not stand-alone solutions).
My chart only compares package amounts. The next step in a complete analysis would be to compare amounts in GH's actual FloraSeries dosing schedule, so this is just a quick, back-of-the envelope comparison. You could have a look at

To answer your question, I think that yes, as you suggest, if I were using MG fertilizers, I would finish off with 100% Bloom Buster for flowering to get relatively more phosphorous and less nitrogen, the favored ratios for blooming.
- I would keep a close watch for deficiencies, and go back to or add All Purpose if it looked like K was low.
- I would also watch out for Ca and Mg deficiencies, especially if you have soft water and especially if you are using reverse-osmosis water. Nebula has good diagnostic pages for those, but it's generally brown spots for Ca deficiency and yellow bands between green veins ("intraveinal chlorosis"
) for Mg deficiency. (Both deficiencies are quite common.)
