harvesting in stages

hi ppl. heres a question i heard someone mention and cant remember the answers they got. the main colas on some of my outdoor autos look ready to be cut according to all the pics i've seen. is it ok for the rest of the plant if i chop these off? the lower buds still have white hairs and i dont wanna kill them. any help is appreciated, thanx

They’ll be fine. I harvest tall plants inside my tent in stages all the time.

It's called a staged harvest. Take 'em when they're ready. If the other buds want to be little poopy heads and take their time, you'll get them later.

Yeah, just harvest the buds as ready. It'll give the lower buds time to mature.
