Harvest time

When my girls are ready for harvest what is the best way to cut ,hang, whole plant or cut off stems. Any tricks to increase THC Thanks

Im growing indoors so that’s different than a outdoor grow. Usually I like to give them 2-3days of complete darkness before harvest. It does seem to increase the resin and brings out more colors which has to help THC. Then I cut the plant down as a whole and hang it upside down in the tent with the fan set to keep temp in the 60’s and humidity in the 50’s. In 7-10 days I can start taking branches off one at a time to trim if I don’t have the time to do the entire harvest. This is my preferred method because it’s a slower dry which gives a smoother smoke. When Ive hung branches individually they seemed to dry faster which gives you a smaller trim window to go from dry to brittle.

As soon I cut mine down. I trim them. The one reason I do this is, because the sugar leaves aren’t curled into the bud, which I find it’s more easier to cut them off probably. Then they go through a dry period on 5-7 day’s and then in the jar.
but this is my preference and this is really a personal choice, when you ask me. I think you will get a lot of different but good preferences.
