Harvest time..Maybe?

This is my white cookie, I know it must be close to harvest, as it is suppose to have an 8 week flower cycle, Im on week 9!!! This is completely different than my last grow, because now I use HPS, which this is my first grow using HPS! I should show you pictures of my other white cookies under T5HO, but honestly its embarrassing becasue the HPS made 10X Larger and Fatter buds!!! Live and Learn right!
Anyways, how close do you think before the big chop?

I would take it tomorrow! Too late tonight! Once you see Amber then it's your choice . The kind of high you want is determined by when you harvest. Most will harvest once they see some ambers!
 
You are in the window of opportunity, but there is no rush as the amber is just contained within the top part.
It doesn't start degradation until the amber fills 70% of the trichomes, however many of us do not have the microscope to determine this-

So we start harvesting anywhere from a few ambers to 40%.
 
Your right Pharma, I am in the window of opportunity! I normally harvest with the minimal amount of amber, I look for a solid 90% of cloud from top to bottom. I myself do not smoke, (Super rare), so... I grow for other people! Other people demand the energetic high, and I harvest with minimal amber. Reviews say I grow a strong, energetic, long lasting effect, so I stick to my pattern. The issue I have sometimes, is I second guess myself. But this is only my 6th crop!

Alright everyone...after last week, I cured a nice bud for someone to test, got them right baked!! So after a few decisions I did chop this morning! Here are some chop pics..These are going to hang in my 4x4 gorilla, the white cookies was originally 1 week behind in veg, so it took up 1/3 of the tent, the other 2/3 is Purple Kush which will be sitting in the dark for the next couple of days anyways before harvest.

well, whatever you do it's working!! also, i think we should add 'window of opportunity' to the technical vocab of the grow community... perfect term...
