Harvest Over a Pound

Pretty cool posting on GWE last week: Has anyone here gotten a pound out of a 4x4x7? w/ a 600 watt light? I know there is a lot of wattage math out there. I have a 600 (MH for veg HPS for flower) in a 4X4X7 and I think the tent can take more light and the girls would love it, provided I shed the heat.

I use a 400 Mh and 600 watt hps but only have a 3×4×6' tent

A lux meter is the best way to judge too much light.

I believe deffinatly with 2 plants at least you can pull a pound my blue wizard had hella chunky nugs on her and I did 400 watts got almost 7 Oz off her pumping the light to 600 watts and growing a 2 nd plant they seem to have the same dence nugs the blue wizard did so hopefully I can pull a pound off these girls I got running about 3 to 5 weeks out for me tho 3 weeks will be her 8 week sence flower check up 5 will be 10 so she will deff be done by 5 weeks from now forgot to add I'm working a 3ft long 4 ft wide 5 ft tall tent

Room is 4by8 but use about 4by4 as a footprint from one 600 hps.in soil I got few grams over a pound once of gdp.four 7 gallon pots.

Yes, a lb is achievable with a high yielding strain. Yes, again can run a 1000w in a 4x4x7 if you got your temps in control. There is a point of diminishing returns and 1000w in a 4x4 is pushing it. But in short, yes this app can be done.

I have a 5x5x8 foot tent that I split in half to make 2 rooms I ran an 1000w hps and if I didn't yield more than a pound with 5 plants I didn't think it was a good grow ,My average was 24 ounces
