Harvest of the hemp grow

I dried it in the shed for I believe five or six days while we built the greenhouse in the back yard and then a couple of nights in the box covered with paper in the man cave. Smells pretty good and is sticky. I'm thinking I'll let it cure and perhaps try a small bud on Thanksgiving and see how it smokes. I ended up with 25 grams from the big girl. I haven't chopped the small girl but was going to today but an issue came up with it. I'll post on that after this.

This has been a fascinating experiment and I've defiantly learned a lot for next year. Again, I really appreciate all the information on this site and from this forum.

Note: I have temp and humidity monitors in the two grove bags and they are sitting at 74 degrees and 49% humidity in my basement man cave.

Aahhh now we come to the payoff...excellent!

I cure in jars. Had a negative experience with Groves bags one time. I've found I like to burp for two weeks and then cure for a month at 62 RH. Of course there are always some small samples taken before that first month is up...

I do have a wine cooler that I keep all my stash in and I was thinking perhaps I should try and make room in it for the two Grove bags. It runs at 62 and 59%. My stash is the only stuff in there, its a small one and the wife quit drinking so, its been converted to better things.

I dry my freshly harvested crop in my basement wine cellar. A constant 55°F and 50% RH, plus absolute darkness when I am not down there.
Sante, Allotrope! Did you build your wine cellar? I used to be a red wine enthusiast in my day. I enjoyed reds from the west coast USA and also French, Italian and Spanish vintages. I believed storing a good wine just off the shelf was made better after aging a year or so. I studied the various French provinces and the top DOCs,AOCs and Crus. Also studied the vintage score charts. I wasn't out there buying a bottle of Leroy Musigny Grand Cru and the like but I did think the $20/ bottle range would get you a good drink.
