harvest buds off the same plant when ready or better to harvest whole plant at once

This topic has come up several times. Most agree you can harvest a plant in pieces if need be. Doesn't hurt the plant at all, and if you think that some are ready while others are not, just harvest as buds become ready.

It's all personal preference. I like to do the entire plant, but a lot of people take each bud as it gets to the ripeness they want.

I have used "staged harvest" with healthy plants and find it gives the unripe buds a chance to increase in size.
