Harvest and Stressing- A Question

Good morning folks and hope you are all okay. I have a question, recently at harvest I have taken to pulling the girls out of my tent and leaving them out and chopping/ harvesting over 1-4 days...it was to see what would happen. What I have found is that the strength seems to increase considerably. Now, the strain is a firm fav and one I grow often so I have a benchmark as to previous strength effects...it has noticibly happened when I did this. So, out of tent, sitting around near my work desk, lights on and off, heating on and off, up to 4 days post ready...is it a fluke or is this producing stronger results due to stress? Any thoughts would be appreciated :) It also feels slightly cured effects wise as well

Morning PaganRich, i know we will hear from some that dont think wounding -stressing a certain bud or two, helps to make it stronger, but I certainly think it does, alot.
All I do is almost break-bend a certain bud or two stems into, a couple of 2-3weeks before harvest, seems to me those several wounded buds are definitely stronger, but I'm no scientist, any way we have been doing this forever, an Will continue to do it. Even if some say it doesn't work.
I know I love looking at your plants, everyday, always a special flair about them.

This is inteesting I have been harvesting my bad azz kush since Wednesday so I'll keep my buds separate see if the later is stronger than the first chop I have another day to go

Please drop your results back here if poss mate as that sounds very interesting as well as DAAS`s above comments. Two great comments :)

Morning PaganRich, yes it helps, when we used to sling what we grew, we would always pick out the best looking, prettiest buds ,that we were going to keep for ourselves, and wound the sh-t out of them, by squeezing and bending the ones we wanted a couple of weeks before harvest, so the plant would try to heal it by sending all the good stuff to the wounded, damaged bud .Just like when deer try to eat them, the plant will try to heal the wound.
Pick you out a couple, and wound them bad enough, but not enough to kill it, like high stress training.an i bet you will see its a good bit stronger when you smoke it.
I still do this ,even now, even if I don't sell it,

DAAS ... Do you have any pics as to how far or the way you do this by any chance? This is great info mate

PaganRich, no, I don't have any pictures, but all you do is squeeze the stalk of the bud, that you choose, just don't cut if off, do just enough damage where the juices can still get thru, but when I do mine the buds I do are just hanging, but still alive.
If I remember right, I read along time ago about Nebula talking about this in one of her tutorials, it's really just high stress training, kinda, anyway, after you get used to doing it ,it's super easy to do, and I'm pretty sure your gonna notice it being stronger, better, even more trichs possibly. You ain't gonna hurt nothin, but the way it looks ,just hanging, looks kinda funny, but you want be laughing when you smoke it,
lol.
Ps, I just did some on my last plants, but I didn't take pictures of them, but on the one I got growing now, I'll take some pictures, when it's time.

Splitting stalks and branches up to three weeks before harvest has always helped improve my buds quality, the stress helps improve the high. Lol

Potted...I tried that mate, bamboo splints through stems but never got much difference between doing that and not but you did? Any pics as to your method, mate?

DAAS-This is really useful info mate and I`m loving it but some questions...is this like supercropping where you wiggle the stem to break/ soften it and do you just leave the bud to hang downwards or support at an angle and what`s the closest to harvest have you done this? One other question, if it generates new trich won`t they be immature thus clear? Enjoying this topic loads mate

PaganRich, I'm not sure it grows new trichs, but it sure ain't gonna hurt the ones already there, they could get larger though. Just think about supercropping, a second, you remember how those knuckles an bends you made ,healed up and the knots got bigger, after supercropping, Same way with wounding -damaging a bud or two, the plant is gonna try to heal itself. I ain't saying that the buds are gonna get bigger though, just more potent, when smoked, like I said I ain't got no scientific proof, but we been doing this ever since we read about it in HighTimes magazine, years an years ago. Some folks probably don't think it works ,or they don't want to ruin the looks of their plants by doing it, but I promise, I could care less how the plant looks, all i want is the f-ckn strong ass, buds.
Ps, usually 2-3 weeks before harvest, is when I do it. It don't take 2 minutes to do a few buds

Do as many as you want too. It's just gonna make your plant not so pretty,
Maybe just do a couple, at first,.@PaganRich.
Ask all you want, I ain't doing sh-t, right now, but smoking, some good stuff,

Hope the rest of your day goes as well :D ...I`m just getting ready to chill to Forged in Fire....really addictive and I`m crap at metalwork as well :D
