GWE Gratitude

At 53 years of age I don't know as many friends as I once did who have weed for sale. Over the years I have dwindled down to one friend for my needs. At first things were good. Blue dream and misc strains at good $. Naturally things changed. Supply was alway some unknown cross or cash crop fast growing strains. Last four years same bud over and over. No flavor, smell racey high. Nausea, headache at times. Didn't help with my stress nor anxiety. It was like going to the only beverage place in town and buying the only crappy beer they sell and drinking the same beer you don't like for years, while there is a whole world of beers now, more than ever for the connoisseur. Life is to short, so I decided to fulfill a desire I always had that was on my bucket list anyway. It was time to become self sufficient and create my own sustainable resources. I began to research and educate myself as much as I can. Intrigued and excited I found GWE and was in love with a new passion in life. I have alway had a green thumb. Large vegetable/ fruit garden every year sowed from heirloom seeds, I already had a good foundation. It's a new exciting world for me. I have learned a lot thanks to GWE. I am about to harvest my first grow and should have a good healthy sustainable yield that has turned out better than I expected. Wow. Perpetually i am in third week of my second grow with a verity of strains that are good for me and to keep my taste buds happy. Now I'm in control of what I consume. Thank you GWE. 🍻

That's great Garcon, like you I ain't never liked the same ole beer, don't even drink.,but I have been smoking pretty much the same bud for years without getting burnt out , but after finding GWE it sure has made growing alot more fun. I always grew outdoors and minded my own business and smoked what I grew ,but a friend told me about GWE and I'm sure glad he did. There is some good stuff going on here. P.S. congrats on your harvest.

Wow...great story Garcon! Glad to hear you've discovered the sheer joy of growing your own! And yes, GWE is such a super resource!! 😊 I went for decades without any weed (not easily available in my country life), until several years ago when I decided like you to take matters into my own hands and start using my longtime gardening experience for a more relevant crop with medicinal benefits. It's been a great experience so far, and a blessing to produce enough for my needs! I'm 63 now, I can easily see me continuing doing this! 👍 Best of luck to you and your gardens! 🌿🌿

Thanks DAAS. Feel like I'm part of a big loving family here. It is a good thing happening here. TY.

And thank you for joining us. We all do things differently, but our goal is generally the same. I am 67 and know exactly what you are saying. My anxiety strain is White Widow, but I am always looking.

OK Flockshot I'm glad your the old man , that makes me feel better , because I'm way younger than you I am only 66. P.S. I really do enjoy reading and always learning from GWE.

I concur whole heartedly that I have much gratitude for GWE , Nebula and Sirius, and this community. I've only been here a short time, but I've felt welcomed since my first post.
