They sell carbon filters on Amazon for under $70 and with free shipping!

Since you need to hook the carbon filter up to a strong fan (usually with ducting) for it to work, you need to make sure they all match. Ducting and fan exhaust holes are usually either 4 inches wide or 6 inches wide. The bigger carbon filters are more effective and can filter more plants, but they start getting pretty huge (mine is 16" long in addition to being 6 inches wide).

The reason you need a strong exhaust fan is it needs to be strong enough to pull all the smelly air through the carbon filter, and then push the air straight outside. So the hot air is basically "scrubbed" as its vented out. You also need to make sure your grow space is sealed if you want to prevent smelly air from leaking into your house. You want to set it up so there's some suction, so the only air that ever escapes is after it's gone through the carbon filter.

I wrote a little bit about setting up carbon filters here with pictures and more information, I hope it helps!

I think ima go with a 6 inch fan to be safe is it spost to be and inline or an exhaust fan sorry for all the posts I just want to get this right
