i have six 10inch tall seedlings in small pots that need to be transplanted now. the grow mix i've been using has been 50% general promix; 35% perlite; and 15% vermiculite. the problem i've had is that this mix never seems to dry out . i can go for weeks without watering. i have a 5gal. bucket i pulled a plant from over a month ago and the soil is still damp. the humidity in my house has been 10% to 30%.
so, if someone has a recipe for a grow mix that i can use now i would greatly appreciate it. i have the following ingredients; potting soil; worm castings; epson salt; bone meal; blood meal; perlite; vermiculite; all purpose promix; ultimate organic mix promix. the other ingredients are not available in my community.
