I was at Harbor Freight today and found some eye loupes and a mini scale:

Harbor freight? Hopefully they'll last you more than a day and half, never had good luck with the quality in that place...bought a loupe at my grow store for $15, x40-60, anything else you'll need hawk eyes to see those trichs

Yes, I have heard Harbor Freight has increased the quality of the items they sell so much now, They now have the 72 hours guarantee before breaking policy . Just buy two! (so you will have a spare)

You're gonna need at least 30x to see trichomes.

I used a 400 times LED lit microscope on a 18 inch HD screen with a NVidia graphic card and a I-7 works for me!........O YEA, I forgot! I then ask greens opinion before direct harvest action is initiated. After two strokes a second opinion helps!

Thanks folks the loupes were $3 and the scale was $9. The x-10 seems to work OK for me. Anything you buy at HF is good for 90 days return for exchange or refund
