Looking to order a grow tent. Here's a couple options I was looking at.

I plan on growing in only 3 gallon fabric pots from here on out. I'd like to grow 2 to 4 plants at a time. Is a 4x4 a good choice? If anyone has any other options please throw them in.
 
A 4 by 4 by 8 foot tent is what I have, it cost 80 dollars and is perfect for what you want to do especially if only using small pots like 3 gallons. Here is a pic of my three gals in the 4x4 to give you an size ref, the middle pot is a 7 gallon recently transplanted, the two left and right are two gallon pots

Go as high as you can on tent,I use 5 gallon pots primarily. Just remember plants need room and so do you to water ,prune etc etc . A 48×48 tent would handle 4 5 gal pots easily.

Due to the very low profile of my light fixtures these plants will grow tall enough to fill the height of the tent with about 2 feet of clearance at the top. So no more than 5 feet in height is what I am aiming for, and with some training again, or just bending the stems on a reg basis.

Since there are so many fly-by-night greedy people out there jumping into cannabusiness, I'd look for a tent with a higher number of reviewers, and I'd read what the reviewers say. For example, look at this one:

It has almost 300 reviews with an almost 5/5 rating. It only costs a few bucks more, but apparently, this is an established tent company. It also gives a full 2-year warranty on the tent.

This one only has a 90 day warranty, but good ratings and almost 600 reviews:

If I were buying a tent, I'd definitely go with the 2 yr. warranty and a good number of positive reviews. (Don't forget to read the reviews to see what other growers have to say about the tent.)
 
Agreed, how much light do they let in or out, etc, is the inside zipper cover black or also Mylar... is there any pin holes in the material. The tent I bought was 100 dollars cheaper than the one I was originally looking at. The tent had mixed reviews but most were positive, so I took my chance on it, Mine is fabulous, no light leakage, but it does have black cloth over the zipper covers, inside tent and not fully Mylar lined, what difference this will make to the light spread in the tent is probably minimal but I am nit picking there. Certainly could not use this tent if I were wanting to use Co2 system, Reviews and customer support is what I do too try to gauge whether to purchase or not. Sometimes ya take a risk and hope you don’t have to return it. Good luck. I’m sure you’ll find the right one for you.
 
I'm glad you brought this up 😉. My advice would have been pretty close to what atu said. I can tell you I have the ipower one and it's full of light leaks at the seams and zippers. Not to mention pinholes in the sides and it rips easily. Right after I set it up I went to tighten the porthole up and there must have been a hole in the bottom because it went RIIIIP.

I had to order a new one but went with a 5x5 made by vivosun like the link above and it's the best out of the 3 I've purchased. Very happy with it 😃. The apollo is also a great tent 😉. Good luck.
