HELP! Grow space

Someone on here had a cool little quote I liked can't remember shit but the ending was something about light and weed and weed is light or something a whole lot cooler but same idea. I personally think you can get good bud from 4 40 watt bulbs or 160 total actual(my bad)watts. I'm using 359 actual watts for my one little plant. Power is not an issue for me

Yeah power is not a concern for me along as my plant gets what she needs like a said I'm working in a tight space (H) 764mm (W) 464mm (D) 464mm so tigghtttt lol

If you can talk inches I can tell you. My boxes are 36"x21x21. If you can keep your cfls close 3-4" I feel like that keeps it from stretching but that's just my theory or maybe I read it somewhere
 
I was just showing you the cardboard box to let you know it doesn't take much. I've seen the start of yours and it will be a lot better than what mine started in. Temperature is an issue with cfls but once again I keep it simple hot air rises...let it.
 
Aww sorry dude just what I work in at work lol think it works out (H) 30" (W)18.5" (D) 18.5" that's not spot on of course but I'd say very close lol
 
yep those measurements are pretty much spot on, just rounded up to the nearest half inch
 
No apologies I was just being lazy! My cage where she currently resides isn't much different height wise and less depth wise but it's wider but unused for just my one plant.
 
Jon, welcome to the forum, and that's a sweet grow closet!! I just purchased a grow closet that's about that same size, and sure enough, it comes with a 200w CFL bulb. There is reflective material lining the grow box so that the light will be bouncing all over the plants inside.
 
Ah thanks dude, your glow closet sounds really cool would love to see some pics if you have any ? Hearing you say yours is about the same size is reassuring knowing other people are working in the same kind of space lol any advise is welcomed buddy lol

jon, that's the link to my superbox that's arriving this morning!! It might give you some good ideas of how to modify/equip your space.

Gotta start germinating today, trying to figure out which seeds I'm gonna put in there. It will be a smaller grow for sure. I have a larger grow box, but I'm trying to set up a perpetual grow, so I got the smaller one to vegetate in, then switch them into the bigger box to stretch and flower. I will bet you anything that once you get hooked on growing, your grow space will expand!!
 
Ah man that's lovely, haha I know for sure once I get to grips with everything and I'm more confident upgrading will definitely be on the cards lol but I'll just be happy to make this tight space work first lol aslong as I can get one plant harvest out of this box I'll be happy till we move at the end of the year to a bigger place where hopefully I can find a nice space for a tent lol

The cheap light bar as promised! Bathroom fixture and an old tv power cord. Add some y splitters and you could have 12 bulbs x 40 is 480 watts or what I'm thinking of doing is 12 x 23wt or 276 watts and the bulbs are cheaper. Anyway back to work jeg. Yes sir

I'm in the middle of my third grow: I have studied the crap out of the GWE website, and I have learned a lot!!--especially from the hands on grow. Looking forward to seeing your pics!!
 
Atu has helped me so much with my first grow. You are in good hands. I like your new box! Even though I like to build that one is interesting to me. How well do they maintain temperature?
 
Aww nice third grow yeah can't wait to get that far into it looking forward to the challenge lol I'll be following your grows buddy be looking forward to picking up some of your tips, I've bin on here non stop for the past couple of days just soaking it all in lol, I'm aiming to have everything up and running ready to go by the 6th of June ( like to have a schedule) lol then get to work and see how it goes like u said always find hands on is better to learn!
