HELP! Grow space

hello all hope everybody's having a chilled weekend 😊
First off what a great community you guys have here ive discovered a whole new world 😂.
so what I wanted to know guys is it possible to grow a plant in a confined space? Bin following all this grows on Reddit and jealousy has taken over and got the better of me haha so after talking with the misses and trouble shooting some things mostly her perants just poping in when ever and them being shall we say old fashioned ive worked out the only space I can work in is 754(H) 464mm(W) 464mm(D) internal space that is.....is a one plant grow possible in that tight of space ? It's going to be built into the right hand side of our tv stand in our bedroom for concealment and I have a cabinet already built for free from work to slide into the space nicely I've spent about £30 so far buying bits and bobs but don't want to go on spending money if I can't work in the space
Any advise will be a god send guys many many thanks in advance people
 
it's probably possible but I'd say only with CFL lighting and good low stress plant training to keep the plant low & wide.
 
Ah thanks dude I shall be following your grows closely 😬, that was gonna be my next question was lighting lol as I've seen a lot of space buckets and small cabinet grows using led lighting is that possible in that kind of space ?

That's a small grow space and I think CFL's are your only lighting option plus, they are cheap. I grow with CFL's and have had a few very successful grows. Led's require too much distance from plants but you can have CFL's within inches. You may want to consider growing an auto as they don't get very big, but final harvest isn't as much. Good product just lower yields, which you will have anyway due to small space. You will also need to consider fresh air intake and odor control when they start flower. There are strains that produce low odor but you still don't want parents (or anyone else) getting a whiff!! 😂 Good luck and keep us posted!
 
That it is dude haha that's why I've stopped till I got abit of advise from you guys lol, yield wise I'm happy with an oz or so as it's only me smoking it lol and definitely was thinking of autos too as like u said space wise and to me they seem like they might be abit more forgiven to a novice like me 😂, air intake ive built a double fan with carbon filter sheets between them to stop any dust and bugs or smells getting in Oder control wise was going to try building a double fan box at the top and pad the inside of it out with little bags of carbon filter pellets and and a ozone geneater outside the extracter fan hole to grab anything the pellets don't get then was going to put afew tubs of odur killer around the house to get anything that's still lurking those tubs will be outside the room tho as I read in a couple of places they can affect your plants
taste but fingers crossed should stop any smells in the rest of the house.
I'm going to look into cfls right now.
mind if I ask what kind of cfl set up you use ?
 
I have read the same about odors killer too. Just don't put anywhere near your grow area. I use 42w CFL bulbs but they are getting harder to find locally (can order online). Started with 23w cfl's and others here use them too. With cfl's, the more the better. Getting splitters is a cheap and easy way to double number of lights for each available socket.
 
Ah I see I was looking at light sets on amazon lol so you make your own rig up ? The set I see on was a lamp holder hanging bracket and a warm white 125w bulb any good ?
 
I did my own cfl set up but check out 9fingerleaf cfl set up. It is one of the best I have seen! Looks simple, inexpensive but very effective and you can make it any size to fit your space.
 
Now that does look cool I didn't think about doing this to be honest man lol what I'm worried about is im not to sure on what kind of watts to run as it's such a small space everything I read is for bigger spaces And I try work it out and break the watts down and get lost + I keep worrying I'm gonna go over kill and mess it all up or not enough watts and get the same outcome.

Any wisdom welcome dude !!!!!! All advise needed haha as you can see working with a really tight space very well vented for heat but a small space lol my biggest worry is about how to go about the light set up lol

Sorry for the delay. My sons trucks transmission went out. Anyway, if you are looking for an easy way to get a lot of CFL's in with out having to wire or build I have a way. I am about to rebuild my mini set up using it

You wouldn't be or happen to know the kind of person who goes into a room with a purpose gets there only to completely forget why do something completely different for the next hour and.......Well that's me sometimes and I completely forgot why I went back in. Haha that's definitely me to dude don't worry 😂 Gotta look on the bright side least other things get done that you might not get round to doing otherwise😂, thata be great mate any ideas is great considering the small space I'm working with lol
