Grow Journal Girl Scout Cookies

holy sh$t
I just looked that up - enough back pressure for an 8' deep tank - very nice. I bet the plants are loving that breeze through their roots :)

I haven't done anything permanent with my upgrade yet, take it out of the box and look at it. still using 3 pumps across 8 buckets (2 aquarium pumps, but much less than the whisper, and the EcoAir Commercial 1)

I noticed that oldjarhead100 hangs his pump with a ratchet cable. OJH - how big is that air pump you have hanging in your garden? and how noisy is it? is hanging it an effective muffle?

Can not believe the bubbles, thinking about changing to just one stone per bucket. I never realized how loud my light fan motors were until I plugged both of these in. And I believe I can just use one per two buckets. And in the big scheme, relatively cheap.
As far as the old pump, I could handle all the vibration related noise, the filter material solved that issue. But the basic operation of the pump itself is louder than a three year old with an ant bite.

LOL

I actually found a thread or maybe a youtube (will find and post) where a guy was explaining why they are so loud from factory (had to be a video) and he walked through opening it up and tightening up all internal. that made more of a difference than putting a pipe on the intake (which was one of the vendor solutions)

Going to close this one out, start a new one. After a couple of weeks drying ended up with 39 grams, without the help of a couple of fellow growers could of been worse.

Lessons learned?
The nutrients guides are for folks who have everything down to a t, not for rookies, start off light, watch your plans and adjust fire. The clones coming behind can learn from the mistakes.
There is something about using the exact amounts of Micro, Grow and Bloom that does not feel right, going forward I will use a nutrient that allows me to increase grow or bloom accordingly.

I'm still out on the led lights, I have a 400w HPS in the attic that is screaming "Put me in coach".
1000w Led are over kill for my grow space, flowering approximately 2X3 space, using a 600w led now, but keep hearing a voice in the back ground...... see above.

Ok.... Men should get this, but make sure your zipper works correctly ie, my first attempt at using the plastic and zipper was a PIA because I glued in the zipper incorrectly. I needed it to open at the bottom, and no such luck. OK.... I know, zippers are important to everyone, but men know to make sure the zipper path is clear, same with mounting it backwards.

Im sure there are much more, documentation is key, trusting your fellow growers alltatup and willing to push the boundaries just a tad for just a tad more, makes it fun.
PS, Good grow = Happy Bride, life is good.

I never used the AN nute guides for my plants; I would have burned the crap out of em. I never understood. And as I've noted before, I think I always got nitrogen tox. during the first three weeks of flower. The Future Harvest feeding sched. is heavy on Micro and Grow right now, and light on Flower. Not a burnt tip on a single leaf. However, my AN-fed bud was always excellent and sweet.

I'm looking forward to your next grow. Keep that bride happy!!!!! ;-}

She loved the taste of the AN nutes, but I completely agree on burning tips and leaves. FH seems to be logical in approach, but even at that I reduce the amounts suggested and currently slowly moving up.

RagWeedDWC I have a dosing chart that goes with my BCNL RoomMate, and I think it's slightly lower than their usual recommendation; this is for my 16 liter (4.2 gal) reservoir, and I usually put more like 5 gallons in.

That is what i'm using (p14 :-)), slightly modified for a 6 gal container. It has made an awesome difference. I will add a picture of the mothers, they have completely turned around and I'm running out of mother tucking room.

Have to read it close, i would never be profane, well, at least not more profane than a former Marine. that t can look a lot like a f :-)

As Promised, complete grow space rebuild

Had been sitting here for a couple of hours trying to do a complete step by step and realized..... just throw it out there :-)

"Pablo Picasso" Had us both laughing. It is amazing how creative you can get, when you are lazy at heart :-) My thoughts were that from the folks I have met on this forum before are not lazy, just have better things to do with their time then read thru some old ex Jarheads, grow room post. Myself I'm lazy, its the bride who has the input on better things to do :-). Thanks Guys, it was a fun build, solved a bunch of problems I discovered in my first couple of grows.
