Grow Journal Girl Scout Cookies

Timing on this grow is all screwed up, going to have to convert veg to flower and see if I have any more males in this group. They seem to be doing well, will move PPM to 800 on flower side.

Buds doing well, grow doing well. Seems to be a lot of stretch, but again may be the trait of this seed. Started process, but not going to enclose per the "Flower side" finished Veg side for flowering also, only using the 270w
Actually this gives me a opportunity to compare the lights side by side.

Note: I see through the forums folks trimming all the leaves out from under but not confident I know what to trim. I use the 2 inch wire, because thats what I used in the past, will change in the future, but the wire allows me to slide out in in. The designs I see on this forum are much better, and will change in the future.
For now just call it old fart screen.

Roots looking good, but upped hydroguard to 3ml per gal (18ml total) Starting to trim a little of the underbrush. Seeing some PH issues or possible a phosphorous deficiency, in dirt I would bump up a little, ph is good so not thinking that's the issue.

Going to change ferts in both tubs to Sensi Bloom at 800PPM . Will do this next change (Once a week) will flush and clean both tubs well. PH may be the issue, but think I have to little Phosphorus for this set of girls.

Filling out nicely, but I think they should be farther along, will keep checking and put better timelines on this.

Time line is now caught up, switch out all ferts to sensi bloom this morning. Has been a heck of a lerning experience for my first "Water" grow, but got to say.
Much faster growing times, big thick stems and fat leaves, verdict is not in on LED grow lights, can not help but feeling if I fired up my old 400w (Have to let local power company know its coming on line) it would do better. May try that in the future.
Onward and upward.

Great write-up RagWeedDWC . Love your sense of humor. Plants look great - but there's too much foliage for my liking.

Does your fan run 24/7? Problem with LED lighting that I usually encounter on every grow (I'm blaming the red lights for this) is bud rot, or mold. So long as your air is circulating throughout your plants you're ok.

Great job on the closet.
Good luck growing!

I agree with to much foliage, my first Hydro and was not sure what to take off, going forward that will get trimmed quite a bit. I have two 6inch fans pulling from under my shop (Cut and covered with screen multiple 4 inch locations. Air flow is just enough to pull positive on the grow box they run 24/7 . In side I have multiple fans that oscillate across the grow area one low and one high on both sides 24/7 . Only light that is red is on the left side (Veg side, but now flowering under the red light). its a 270w, right side has a "White" light for flowering (According to the button). This should give me the opportunity to compare. Only time this varies is when the temp starts to get low one of the big fans will stop.

It is actually a scrap from my pod filter. Very heavy duty and takes enough vibration out it works for me. The shelf backs up to a panel, before I put the filter down the vibration from the pump vibrated the panel worse than a cheap motel vibrating bed. Between the hose and the foam I think it is what it is, would not want it in a bedroom.

Ya, it's definitely going to make noise and vibrate. Just trying to figure out a way to muffle mine.
I have an upgrade to put in, that I just may have to put in the basement.
I wonder if there is a maximum hose length, for air? To the googles

Trimmed the underbrush until it was so bare I started hearing porn music in the back ground. Great examples of how to do this all over this forum. My next grow will be a heck of a lot different in the training and leaf removal.

I considered posting some apropos music, but I don't want to get banned.

Have 5 Girl Scout Cookies from Nirvana taking a long winter's nap in the desk drawer. Spring is so far away since it isn't even winter yet.
