Grow Journal 1st grow Autos by Greenpassion

Well I thought that kind soil was supposed to prevent nutrient problems. One of the six is seriously yellowed at the bottom of the plant. A lot of the leaves are pale and yellow. The only one out of six. And another issue is another one out of six has not even begun to go into flowering, when all the others are well into it. These These are from Nirvana. Do they ever mix up and send photos instead of Auto?. Really surprised at the yellowing leaves.

Yes they mix up autos and photos a lot lately. I purchased gg#4 autos they were supposed to be done a week ago...no flowers. Do you have pics?? But it's wierd that only one would be out of 6...were they in different packages??

Quite some time ago when I first started this journal I had mentioned that I mixed up my tags. It is either a northern lights or an OG Kush that is yellowing at the bottom. As far as over-watering goes I'm really not sure that that could be. I wait until they are dry and very light. I'm going to do some more LST on them and then pull them out of the room and photograph them today. In a couple hours I'll post some pics.

Mine are taking about six and a half to 7 cups of water about every 4 days. There's a lot of air circulation and the temps are between 80 and 81. Don't know if that helps

Just saying I ain't never had no trouble using KindSoil, unless it was my fault, and I've used it a bunch.
If anything ,it might be a little to strong.

Just took several pictures of plant number one. I have them all numbered one through six. And this is the one out of 6 that is not flowering and I'm wondering if it is a photo. They are around 2 months old in a few days.

Are you getting runoff a little ? Are you feeling the bottom of your pots to make sure that the roots are getting damp when you water.?
If the roots don't get damp, you are gonna have problems.

This is plant number three, the one that is yellowing.

This is plant number 6. It has a big thick Cola I guess that's what you call it. It's so densely leaved it's difficult to expose all the buds. But this one seems to be smaller but far more ahead of the other ones. It's already sticky and smelly.

This is plant number two. This was the other one that I thought would not go into flower but as you can see or hopefully, it looks like it is just now beginning to flower. Quite a bit behind the other ones but still ahead of number one that isn't going into flower at all. I've just water them and they look a little wilty. Is that normal? I water them until I feel the bottoms of the cloth pots are wet. I try not to have any drain out. I feel underneath them and my fingers come off wet, which I hope is okay. It tells me that the water has gone through the pot. Am I on the right track?

How much kindsoil is in this one's pot?

My og kush rolex auto has 5lbs in a 5gallon pot.

Autos and plants under led tend to require more calcium and or magnesium, most use a combination supplement but epsom salt at 1tbsp/gal will cover the magnesium. And calcium carbonate folier and/or drench .

Greenpassion, Brother your doing a great job with your plants.
They have come along way, pretty quickly.
That's the way you do it with KindSoil, just like you are doing.
You don't want much runoff at all, just make sure the bottom of the pot is good and wet.
The first few I grew using KindSoil, I had a good bit of yellowing,
Yours are still a little early to start turning yellow, but but come close to harvest time, the whole plant is gonna turn yellow, it's supposed too.
On your one plant, that's got a few yellow leaves, I wouldn't worry to much, about it unless it starts spreading.
You are using cal-Mag ,aren't you ? Or you using tap water.

Californiakid, there are 21 cups of kind soil in each 3 gallon grow bag. I use epsom salt on my orchids because they tend to go into magnesium deficiency if I don't. Should I start doing that? My pH comes out a perfect 6.5 lately. And I'm not clear on what you meant by no foliage drench.?

Greenpassion, That's what it is, yes get you some cal-mag,.
Something about when you use LEDs, You need to use Cal-Mag..
I use 3-5ml, of Cal-Mag, a gallon.
Man you are doing a good job with your plants though, they are coming right along.
