Grow bags

I figure I have 2 side anchors to tie training wires to so I never cut them, l also wire my name tags on the handles so I can identify each.. “ HELLO my name is Kush”
Since they’re 7 gallons and going to 10 and 15, those handles will come in handy for lifting and turning plants
 
Ok. I have another question. I have some canvas tarps just laying around. I was wondering if I tried making some grow bags from canvas if the would be ok for the plants. I mean it's fabric. And since I have time on my hands I thought I could try that. Do you think that would work and would the fabric let the roots breath etc? Can you tell I freaking bored???
 
GardenLady , why not, the durability may come into question for longevity and my bags, while mostly felt, some are a canvas blend and obviously cotton. Sturdy machine I hope and not a Featherweight
 
GardenLady I think we are in the same boat (please keep your distance), I made my first 20 gallon pots by hand. I'll but new ones as I need them they are cheaper than my labor! LOL I dont see why it would not work, longevity may be in question. Have fun!
 
Good to know Farmall and Rwise😊😊 day have nothing else to do so might as well experiment.. just wanted to keep e that the roots would be able to breath right before using my girls to try them 😀😀😀
 
Lol. Keeping distance. Ok. I was thinking of making one or two about 15 gals and a couple of three gal. To see what size would work. Then I can order some more. I do have 5 and 10 gal. Not sure if I need something in between or not. So thought I would give it a try.
 
GardenLady I made a few covers for my outdoor junk from SUNBRELLA fabric. I used a black nylon thread and even some woven Dacron. Lasted a long long time, years
