Grow area with street light

I was thinking about next year planting in an area in my back yard that gets sun from sunrise to sunset but there is a street light just about 50 feet away and I was thinking that might not be good. Am I right, wrong or just thinking too much?

I've never encountered a problem with street lights but there are people here that will disagree. All you can do is give it a try.

My experience it depends on the color of the street light.
I have one over my backyard I kept shooting with an air gun, and they keep coming to repair it.
so I gave up the fight. But the plant didn’t care. It was amber the street light color.

I have a soccer field in the village I live in, and when they turn on their white big lights, it’s a problem. It shines too much to be honest, but then I move the plant inside for the night, then they have soccer workout

Maybe you should try a couple photos and a couple autos as a backup, and hell if it doesn't bother them it's a win win 🌲🌲😎

I've read a few stories about those street lights being and issue for growers and photo plants. I'd stick autos out there do a couple of runs. I ran 2 legal 4 plant auto flowers this summer. That's 8 plants for a summer grow. Some folks can do it 3x depends on how long the summer sun lasts above that area. But i'd run autos cause they don't care about light being on them they love it.
