Nothing like riding on black ice, and I wont do it again if I dont have to! That was some scary shit, let off the throttle in heavy traffic and do a 360, back to even and she went on down the road.

Welcome to south Eastern Ontario!
Guess I can take the portable fireplace out of the bloom room today😂
This is long been going on at our place we watch for it an get prepared. Last really bad flood was in 1998 took out back fences piled debris in the middle of our back yard. Nothing like watching logs going down the river like freight trains 100 yard from your house, the sounds are un nerving. Coast rivers are already over banks.
I think it's supposed to snow every day this week, it has so far. There's a thick layer of tundra from a week or two ago on my driveway but now that it's so cold the snow on top is light, easy. I like to go out in the dark when the street light shines on it, feels like I'm shoveling big piles of cocaine. Then the next morning it's like Ground Hog's Day when I wake up. I have the perfect place: subzero temps, a foot of snow outside my patio door; jars of cured bud and bags of frozen trim. But NO Everclear. :frustrated: Six deer came up from the ravine in the snow the other night, sauntered in front of the house, down the middle of the street. My fenced area has altered their route.
My 5 yr old pug is named Jack'son, the apostrophe is for Jack Nicholson. I feel like I've been living The Shining, for a week or so now. Last night I set a bowl of Lay's Carnitas Street Taco flavored potato chips on the small glass coffee table, the cat walked onto the table, took a sniff and proceeded to graze on the chips. The other pug and I just watched, like 'this is normal, right?' Stay safe, stay sane!
