Hi willythepic. I have the Auto pot 4-pot system except I use cloth pots. There's other auto pot users on here as well. I have only done one grow using the system but I love it. It worked as advertised. I'd recommend it.
 
Hi golfnrl, what do you mean by cloth pot? could you tell me what is the difference between auto pot and DWC systeme. What worries me is the 47 liter tank. do you have to change the water often. can we do a complete culture without changing the tank water ?

I had 4 plants in a 3x3 tent. Setting up the system, including the rez was easy. I set the rez up with about 10 gallons of water. I added a little over 4 gallons water w/nutes to the rez each week. I cleaned out the rez twice during the grow just to clear out the smelly water. But I really did not have to do that. I grow in soil and used the 50/50 soil/perlite mix that autopot recommends. https://www.autopot-usa.com/wp-content/uploads/AutoPot_USA_brochure_32pp_2019_LORES.pdf Look on page 26 for the different medium options. I don't know enough about DWC to compare to Autopot. Sorry about that.
 
Hi Willythepic...I didn't find cleaning the rez any problem at all. After the grow was harvested, I washed the parts of the autopot system with dish soap and warm water. I cleaned off the cloth pots as best I could and then machine washed them. So far so good.
