Good bug, Bad bug?

IDK what this is, kinda looks like a walking stick, but my walking sticks are much longer and thinner. So anyone know what this is? I have been told Aussie walking stick, but no thats not it, and if it were I would be killing them.

I dont have that kind of phone, the person that does said said Aussie walking stick, but it dont look like those either.

Most crickets are about an inch long and have wings (not all have wings), this thing is at least 2 inches long, depending I guess on just where one takes the measurement from.
I dont want to just start killing things that IDK what are, so I have not been doing anything with these. I also never found them on my weed.

dilvish nailed it, thanx! Bad bug, and dont get your face close to them, they spit poison that can cause temporary blindness and much pain! So we start killing them on site.
