Golden Tiger

New grow, Golden Tiger 100% sativa from Ace Seeds. 2 seeds dropped in the Cannakan on 9/15 at 5:00pm, 16 hours later they both went into a bud cup in a 5050 blend of coco/perlite, 1 sprouted on the 17th and 1 on the 18th, both went into their final home on the 23rd, and veg began. They'll be in 5 gallon cloth pots. After top feeding for about 10 days the autopot system was turned on October 8th.

The manifold was started on 10/12. Both plants had grown 6 nodes and were topped to the 3rd node and all growth below that was removed. That left one set of growth tips and one fan leaf on each side of the plant. They recovered quickly. I've altered my nute mix to focus more on the base nutrients and I think that has made a difference.

They grew 4 nodes on each side and were topped at the 3rd node. All growth was removed at the 2nd node on each side. That leaves 8 main colas. The manifold is essentially completed. They'll veg now for a couple more weeks and then flip to flower. These girls will flower for 10-14 weeks.

I'm using these guidelines from Ace:
We recommend 11 (light)/13 (darkness) photoperiod for the flowering indoors, in order to boost the flowering, and to avoid reflowerings or excessive stretching in early flowering.
We recommend low/moderate levels of nutrients (especially of nitrogen) for the whole cycle, and slightly higher amounts of PK at the peak of floral production in mid-flowering.

For the manifold I'm following these guidelines from Nebula:

Cool, now y'all got me interested in the manifold technique, looks like fun
I was looking for a way to control how tall a sativa would get. After losing a couple, including a haze plant that grew past the light I knew I needed to do something. I'd seen the manifold info but was too chicken to try it. Now that I have done a few, I wish I'd been using it all along. It's not really for short squatty plants with tight nodes I don't think.
