Gg#4/ manifolding

Probably, its indica dominant unless your talking about an autoflower, As the president of the AutoFlower haters club it pains me to say, I have seen some really nice looking Auto Mainlines on here.
If it doesnt like LST it wont like manifolding but I have never seen on that didn't like the abuse. If one limb is weak and leaning, supercrop it and prop it up for a couple of days

I do a 4-way manifold (also known as a quad line) on all my plants to form the basic structure because it gets me where I want to be much faster than the traditional manifold or mainline. After that you have options depending on how the plant grows

I have often wondered how much difference in yield you get between a 4 way and 8 way manifold and what the time difference is

I agree 2 weeks is about right but what does it do for the yield? I enjoy the process of mainlining, its as close to sculpting as I get

Y’all doing it wrong. I’m usually in flower 4wks after my seeds pop. The only reason this grow is still vegging is because Gorilla keeps delaying the shipment of the Xi750.

I don’t top by how many nodes my plant has anymore, I go by how long the colas are. Once the colas I’m keeping are 1/2” long, it’s ready to be topped. If node 4’s colas are long enough when I top I keep it, if not I top above node 3 and grow out nodes 2 and 3. Either way, after topping leave all the lower growth until the nodes you’re growing out have a couple sets of leaves then remove all lower growth. This keep the plant growing!

Now you should have 4 colas left forming a 4-way manifold. Once nodes 3 on those colas are all 1/2” long go ahead and top em. From here if you remove node 2 on all 4 mains and leave nodes 1 and 3 on each you have 16 colas left to grow out. If you remove nodes 1 and 2 from each main and leave node 3 you’ll have 8 mains. Top all of them again and you’d have 32 for a nice scrog grow if you want.

This is the point I normally flip to flower because I have 30” of grow space to work with so I keep em short. If you wanted to let em grow another few weeks from here you’d have huge plants before flipping to flower.

The original ‘mainline’ technique was a good starting point but yea, it takes way too long! This modified version will keep your plants growing

I’m in no particular hurry. I have a question though. Started with 4 feminizes seeds from a known supplier. One plant, the one that germinated first is much taller/ leggier. The other 3 are all about the same. This is my 3rd grow. First from seed.

Week 4 of flower

It’s possible to grow 4 plants of the same strain from seed and have them all look different. They’ll smoke the same in the end though

Looking good. Here's my baby blackberry moonrocks from herbies seedbank, getting ready to top down to 3rd node for the manifolding. Just doing the one this time round in a small tent ( 800x800x1.5) plan is to top untill 8 colas and let her go for it, using GSP 400 LED.

Bud pics are slurrican (purple) and G13 . They've nearly ready for jars and slow cure untill xmass.

420!

Different lights for seedlings and for flowering stage is my bet. I still use a light similar to that one for starting seedlings
