Cheers man! It only gets better from here! Setbacks will happen but as long as you learn from them there is no wasted time! I'm not great but I'm tons better than my first grow so just keep at it man and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

I had quite a few this small, was doing hydro and kept messing up nutrient levels, pH, temps, etc. Learned from that so the next time I do hydro it should be fine hopefully. Currently doing amended soil and having much better luck with it. Should harvest over a pound this time, super excited. And it will only get better from here. Happy learning.

Yeah the trichs are the best way to tell stage of ripeness, although i think most people have their own preferred trich colors. For me i like to see several amber trich before flushing as i have anxiety and having a little of the thc turn to cbd takes the speediness out of the bud. I use the breeder's flower time as a guide to know when to start looking at trichs or i'd be checking them constantly lol. It is especially difficult if there are several different flower times listed so i dont envy you on that!

Yes JDU when trichomes are cloudy your in the window for harvest. More amber in the mushroom head means more relaxing. So try for 20% amber if your not sure of the strain.

*forever* Yep that's been my experience. I have 2 plants that I'm watching now that are in the same stage. Patience, not my strong suit.

Talking about forever, had a timer mishap and now I'm 24 day past the cut date, maybe Monday?

You are in the harvest window but if your looking for 10 to 20% Amber you're a week or two away.

Also, yes, you will see the amber mostly in the trichome bulb. They also kinda shrink when they turn amber. If the color isn't obvious, sometimes you can tell by the change in shape, gets kinda shriveled.

I can't really get the picture to show a real clear close up. But it does look like 5-10% of your bulbs have shrunken down a bit, which I usually associate with turning amber. I agree with Mr.furley that you're in the window. You could harvest 1/3 or 1/2, and let the rest ripen some more.

I am soooo happy to finally need to ask this- but how do you tell the difference between just sticky & still wet when you put them into jars? Also- when you burp, how long do you leave the jar open?

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. I spent Christmas Eve with a pair of scissors!!! 👍😎👍

Definitely not a big harvest but my 1st successful one!! As they dry & shrink I see that I should've trimmed deeper but this run was a great learning experience thanks to y'all.

Looks a bit like the amount I just took down also JDU. They dryed pretty small for 3days. I just cut the buds off this a.m. put them in a quart jar filled it 70% cause that's all it took LOL. Anyhow the other two have 2wks according to the strain then I sure hope they'll be close because i'm going to flip the lights back to 18-6 throw the 4 autos in there with them.

These next two when I harvest will be at least 2 quart jars ea. looks like. Were getting better :)

Nice Budgal 🍻
I Can't wait to share some clouds!! The Thai Skunk is goin in next. I have clones if you need some but I'm gonna wait & clone the clone of the best producer.
