Get Help for Cannabis Plants Problems as Quickly as Possible!

Hi GWE forums help thread heros!

Problem: Two of my plants have leaves that are damaged. I have tried to locate a deficiency that fits the look of it but cannot conclusively say what it is.

Genetics: 9lb. Hammer Feminized by Growers Choice (Bigger plant)+ One unknown bag seed (smaller plant)

Soil: They were planted in Bar Harbor Blend Organic & Natural Potting Soil. When they got big enough I transplanted into 3 gallon fabric pots with Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Each transplant was done with a sprinkle of Great White Mycorrhizae. Planted in 3 gallon fabric pots.

Equipment: 48" x 48" x 80" Vivosun Tent, Spiderfarmer SF4000 18 inches above canopy set at 75%, AC infinity 6inch inline, 2 oscillating fans.

The Nutes: I have the Fox Fam Trio plus I picked up Microbe Brew and Bushdoctor Sledgehammer. Of that I have only used the Big Bloom, Microbe Brew, and 2 feedings of 2mL/Gallon Grow Big. Tips started crisping so I stopped on the Grow Big. I adjust pH of the water with General Hyrdoponics pH+ and pH-. I have Superthrive for emergency use, Fish Shit that I put in every watering, Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses which I have started adding every other watering at 1 tbsp/Gallon, and GH CaliMagic as my CalMag.

Water: I water when I can pick the whole pot up and it is very light compared to the size of the plants and I cannot feel moisture on the fabric pots. After I add nutrients I pH water to 6.5. I check run-off and its usually 6.4 to 6.7. When I water I add until just before the water will overflow the dirt and cascade down the air-pruned dirt on the inside of the fabric pot. I am looking for run-off that has flowed through the main root mass. When I see it I stop.

What do I think it could be?: Based off of what I can see in the plant diagnoses section of GWE I am leaning towards either a Calcium deficiency or I am overwatering it. This isnt my first grow so I dont believe its over watering.

If you have seen this, please reach out! I am new to this community and would like to learn from you all.

It sounds like to me that your adding alot of ferts or different nutes in combination to the already loaded soil mix. I know it's not " dirt soil " but i call it soil or potting soil. I'd stop the additives raise the light and just use water a couple of times see if it clears up. Remove the large damaged leafs. But i'd quit with all the nutes temporairly then gradually add small amounts of growth tea until you do 12/12. Maybe someone else has different idea but i don't use that much additives in my soil mix.

I appreciate the feedback SoOrbudgal. I was thinking it was a deficiency because the tips weren't burning and the inner leafs were browning. I'll give your suggestion a try. Do you have any tips or links for a good tea and how often to use it?

HELP! Brown Spots on Leaves

I just noticed this today. I was planning to "flush" the plant this weekend and harvest 2 weeks from now. Does anyone know what is going on? What if anything should I do? Maybe go ahead and harvest immediately?

first time grower:
Does this look like nute burn or light stress on the right one? I’m guessing nute burn. This one has been behind the other developmentally since the beginning. I probably planted it too deep. I’ve been giving it the same nutes as the other. The seeds were planted the same day Aug 5. Left popped on the 7th. The burnt looking one on the 9th of Aug.They are purple haze autoflower.
In a 3x 3 (I should have just grown one at a time. It looks crowded)
medium is 70% coco, 30% perlite.
my water is very hard. I ph down to 5.8-6.0
i still give cal/mag. Maybe I shouldn’t.
nutrients are coco AB I’m mixing 13ml each to 1 gal of water.
I add in root stimulator, 5ml. Boost was added this week, 6ml to a gal. Lights are viparspectra p2500.
lights off 8 hours a day. They are 18 inches away.

Don't think it's nute burn. Since they are the same strain I would guess a picky pheno. I do soil so can't help with the nutes but since it's only bottom I would suspect a deficiency or ph.

Hello Airlyn i have the same light as you for one of my tents. Well they could be moved away more from eachother. How is you light hung? What i mean is......is the light hung with short side facing out or long ways width of the tent? I say this because how one maybe getting more light than the other and have you LST or topped them? I do not see light burn nor nute burn perhaps it's the water might boost the cal/mag. I don't use the root stimulator you got roots that are good it looks like why use it?

I don’t know what you mean when you said, it’s only bottom?
I really am a newbie. Heck I just started smoking again after 25 years. Growing? 😂
The plant on the left has brown, curling leaves. Perhaps I should have taken better pics. Thank you for any help, I appreciate it.

Okay im back... Idk whats going on but my plants have all seemed to just stop where theyre at growth wise and try to flower. My BCN just sprouted and grew hairs far as it went.. I think my lights are just BS really cause they advertised Atshark 1000w led with flower and bloom.. only consume 100w cheaper 3ft x 3ft coverage blah blah plus those two small sprout lights that are just veg spectrum basically i figured id hace more than enough light for these 3 to grow but i just dont understand whats telling them to bud soon as theyve sprouted like that.. Def start them in 3gal fabrics pots next time instead of transplanting.. I water every couple days they seem fine on that dont have plant food nthat mightve been beneficial or just more waste of money at this point id get like a gram or so between the two NL and GG.. NL has leafs that are dying or something..

They need strong enough light, fill the bags with soil, water enough, and depending on medium - nutrients! You can wing it with egg shell water for calcium, epsom salt and water for magnesium, fish poop for nitrogen, banana peels, there are many options. Are those autos? I had a horrible auto grow in a decent environment. Photos are next for me. First grow photos produced well with "medium-grade" lights, 200?W total. I upgraded after that. I don't know if it's worth your time to keep growing those. Sorry.

Hi I'm a first time grower, I got this clone from a friend about 3 weeks ago, and recently it's just stopped growing and its been like this for a week now.

The light cycle is 14 hours of light and 10 hours of dark.

The pot is filled with coco fibre. And for neuts I give her a 30 : 10 : 10 + TE nitro mix every 7 days.

I can't seem to figure out what the problem is? Can you guys help me out. Is this a problem with PH levels of the water? Because I just give her tap water, I haven't checked the PH levels.

Can this be recovered?

You must check the ph. Plus your in coir so you'll need to give nutrients & ph the water mix. Hard telling what's wrong without details about your grow. Is that light to close or is it okay?
Maybe you gave her to much nutrients. Is she rooted already?

Hi,

Found this yesterday on a Critical Sensi Star Freebie I'm growing from New420guyseeds. She (he/it?) has been on 12/12 for almost 3 weeks. I found 2 bunches of balls growing out. This is my first hermi plant and I'm torn on what to do:

1. Kill the plant and pop another seed. Downside is a fairly large hole in my flower pipeline which is for personal use.

2. Pinch off any balls I see and keep her going throughout flower. Downside here is I have one other plant in the room (blue dream fem) that would be in danger of pollination.

Has anyone done number 2 and if so how did it work out?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Your little plant is flowering and that lamp light is way too close. Plus it looks like you have fungus gnats and over watering. On the plus side it's still green.
