Hello. Noticed a spot on one of leaves and yellowing to purplelish color on tips. She is in Pot4pot Superb Soil. No nutes added as I was told that Superb Soil is hot and their soil will carry the whole grow. I been watering just ph water between 6.2 6.5 a lil higher sometimes as it drifts bit never went over 6.8.

Hey Jroc I think you've found the one big draw back of growing with a hot soil mix. As you've only been adding water there is just no way to cut down on what nutrients she gets. It looks like slight nute burn on some of the leaf tips and 'the spot' looks a little like she could use some Cal/Mag but other than that she doesn't look bad. AND unfortunately I really don't know of a way to avoid the nute burn as you can't reduce your nutrients. Keep on Keeping on, not much else you can do. Fingers crossed for the best possible outcome and Happy Pharming!
Hey thanks for your response. So I went to a local hydro store and they said the same thing you just said. "Nutes already in there". Thay gave me some recharge to try on her. Gave her half tsp. in gal. h2o ph 6.5. They suggested I remove sick leaves. This is her as of yesterday.

So I think she is looking better. 48 days from sprout. Now I am trying to identify this leaf issue on my other girls. They all have this going on a couple of leaves. I was thinking ph issues. I last watered/fed last night bit three days ago they got 8ml advance nutrients ph perfect sensi bloom 4 ml big bud carbo load bud candy sensizym 3ml fish shit. A&b was upped 1ml from last feeding. The others only up half ml. New addition is the fish shit. If someone can help me identify this new issue, it will be greatly appreciated. The following is all the girls. End of week 7 tomorrow. Six autos 3 super skunk 3 northern lights. 4x4 5 girls are in pro mix hp with Mycorrhizae. The other is in superb soil. I have gotten this far but I don't know what I am witnessing is great good fair poor as I have never seen the plant grow. I am just used to reaping the benefits. I want to appreciate my medicine much more now. I don't know what happens next or what to expect.

It looks like you're going to have some nice flowers. Nice recovery! I wouldn't worry about what you can't do anything about for this grow. It does however give you food for thought for the next grow. Yellowing on the lower leaf shown below looks normal for the age of the plants and your growing medium. My guess is 'about' 3 more weeks for your auto's before harvest day. Once again, we have the hot soil issue so keep that in mind for the remainder of this grow. Have a look around GWE and the forums for auto photo's and grow journals to give you a better idea of when your girls are done. There are many here that grow some amazing auto's, round 'em up, PM them if they allow it if you have questions or comments and welcome to the Phunny Pharm! I'm going to toss out a few names of some good folks for you to contact re-auto's Canuck147 Bowhunterwoody both have a lot of combined experience that I think you would find helpful.

I grow photo plants in hydro so I really think a better and more definitive answer is best coming from someone who not only grows the same type of plants but also in something more closely resembling your growing medium. I would really be surprised if they didn’t fill in and fill out significantly in the next few weeks. I don’t know if he grows autos exclusively. but I do know that Going2fast has done a very nice job with his auto girls. You might want to give his journals a look and hit the stocking footed one up for advice. Also if you haven’t been yet you REALLY should go to Mr.furley ‘s Show your grow forum here on GWE. Furley is VERY helpful and knowledgeable and is another fine person and great resource available to you @ GWE. They look ok Jroc. Can't help you with the feeding as I only do soil and compost on my autos. Day 48 they look ok. I would get your pH to 6.5 for this stage.
Cool, thanks I appreciate you Brother. Yeah so the Advance Nutrients I will run til day 60 or 65 til flush. I have a chart. I will follow. I did look up a grow as you suggested. This grow was Northern Lights and he went 12 weeks til harvest, that's about 5 more weeks. I will check some more out. Peace & happy growing to you Brother. Ttys..

Yea think so too, first run with this new light. Hanging height 100cm and light dimmed to 200w/500ppf and its still too much.
My growspace is 95x65cm so definitely don't have to run

Hello, growmies!.. Ive got a bit of an issue. I was going for a 4 plant SoG in a 2x2x5 along with some topping, training and whatnot.. I'm using 32 oz cups (clear cup holding medium to see roots and a 2nd cup spray painted black to block light.. so 2 cups for each plant) I kept running into overwatering for some reason. I was using the 2nd cup (spray painted) to also catch runoff to test, then immediately discard. Plant never sat in run off. Even after testing, I'd come back an hour later and find a little puddle in the cup and discard that as well.. roots never sat in water, its always draining out more than I could ask actually... so I went ahead and cut some holes in the black cups (to let air get to the bottom roots.. not just the top) as well and found some small saucers to catch runoff now, still keeping roots away from any runoff as it exits the drainage holes. I have about.... 5 fans going.. 1 4" exhaust, 1 4" intake, 2 6" clip on fans to help more air inside and another 10" or 12" tower fan also to help move air. Temps have been about 77F - 81F during the day which is 20 hours on, 4 hours off.. just experiementing with 20/4 with this run. About 350 PPFD for now because I keep overwatering somehow and waiting to crank up the photons till they have recovered and I see some decent growth. Even when I let the medium damnnear dry out completely, almost causing underwatering, they seem to perk up when they get fed/watered.. but then a day or 2 goes by and they are back to curling, spots popping up all over the place, yellowing on lower leaves.. ive completed entire grows in the past using this sized cups as well as a 9 oz cup. I'm starting to assume the 2 bigger may be struggling from being rootbound.. but again, I have filled these cups with roots before, no issues AT ALL.. just have to water 2, sometimes 3 times a day... the 2 smaller plants have small, weak looking roots but they are barely even making their way to the bottom of the cup and those I try to add an extra day before watering because they will begin to curl down quickly if I dont let the medium get pretty dry... by the way, I'm growing in reused, rebuffered, BUT NOT RERINSED coco coir/perlite with General Hydroponic Flora Trio along with calimagic, armor si, myco+ and hydroguard.. ph is spot on going in and out (6.1 - 6.3), TDS when feeding is 380 - 400 PPM (ec meter that converts to PPM, not TRUE PPM... still need to read the article on ec and how to know what I'm looking at at which stage of life and whatnot) and runoff comes out slightly lower.. about 350 PPM.. so the rootzone is fine, besides whatever the damn issue is.. rootbound? Still overwatering? New growth is looking ok, but still pretty slowed and still tends to curl. I know I finger fucked my keyboard here.. sorry.. just trying to figure this out... was planning on buying some .5 gal or 1 gal pots to finish in.. just thought it would be cool to do it in some 32 oz cups.. but all of these strains seem finicky af to me.. never had this issue before.. even reused coco without rinsing or buffering.. like 3 or 4 runs till I started getting major, unfixable pH issues.. also thinking maybe not rinsing caused the water to air ratio to go outta wack.. I'm stumped and dont want this run to go to waste. Help.🥺

Thanks! Yeah it was a bit of overwatering.. the pH is spot on.. i check runoff each watering and in and out, its at 6.1 - 6.3.. I do my best to use this pH the entire grow. Learned that from GWE actually while reading thru each deficiency article. 6.2 seems to be the magic spot in coco.. also, looking back at my previous grows, I would normally be close to 800 PPM (nutrients) by now, but tried to give the "1/4 dose" thing to try and avoid overfeeding. Last few harvests weren't all that great.. great genetics and environment.. but I always had nute burnt tips.. trying hard to avoid that.. i know each plant is different to where one plant may need 800 PPM in flower and one may need 1000 PPM.. any PPM advice? My tap is crappy (400 PPM) so I try to cut it with distilled to bring it down to about 100 PPM before nutes. Maybe I should just use it uncut? Lol
