Can these plants be saved? I've done a number of grows and have never had issues like this. I'm growing Barney's Acapulco Gold in Fox Farm Ocean. Transplanted them into the fabric 5 gallon pots 5 weeks ago. They initially were doing okay the first two weeks but never got lush and growth has been stunted. The light schedule has been 18/6. Temp 78 with lights on and 68-70 with lights off. Using Mars-Hydro 600 watt LED with both growth and bloom on which is what I have always done. Using a humidifier keeping humidity at 35-50%. I've only given them a very small amount of nutes twice. I was using distilled water but had to switch to spring water a week ago as no one has distilled in stock in my area. I'm adjusting the water PH to 6.4 to 6.5. You can see the leaves are pale, yellowish and there are brown spots and a few leaves are dying. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

As time has passed since you posted this there is a good chance that you have already done 'something'. Cannabis can be pretty tuff. I would suggest bundling her back up and get the split stem as close together as possible and wrap it with tape. Insure that you leave a folded over tab so that you can remove the tape after the plant heals. I would generally just say tape it so that the sticky portions of the tape match and allow the plant to pull it apart as it grows - but that is very serious injury that requires some serious attention. Tape her up - keep an eye on her during flowering to make sure all the stress hasn't made her think the end is near so that she produces male flowers for seeds. Best Wishes and Happy Pharming!

Well that's a shame Lucas1975 personally i've not had that bad of a break to try and heal, that's pretty gruesome. You can try like the other person suggested but don't count on it making it without many problems. Your question on " time limit " makes no sense. I'm sorry these accidents are part of the learning process. I believe there's to much damage to say they will grow well as a normal uninjured MJ plant would.

Lucas1975 First grow I had a bad break in a bad location. I taped it well and put a plant zip tie around the tape for security. You might need to stake them for a while. You'll know how long, if the plant bounces back or if it dies off. I didn't worry about the tape being on it, it came off when no longer needed. I had a break when topping in my last grow, bad location, used blue painters' tape, it healed beautifully. Good luck, those are long splits, but weed is tough.

What did you do with that bad split ? Why was it on at 12/12 anyway if you did'nt want it to be? You sure that's female is that the reason?
Deficiency, virus, or fungus. The has been following all of my plants for the better part of a year now (different strains). Root zone ph is 6. Temps 74-77 24/7. Humidity can range from 60-74%. Coco/Perlite mixed 60/40. Feed is 5-11-26 hydro, 75-100% strength.

Wink It looks like you have several things going on at once. Looks like a cascade effect; one thing leads to another. I'm guessing the green showing on the perlite is mold or mildew. I have a suspicion of what is happening - I have not grown anything but hydro for some time now so before I put my foot in my mouth yet again I'm going to direct you to the following links on GWE and see what you come up with, by then you'll either have it figured out or another member who grows in your medium will have stepped in and helped to give you a more definitive answer.
