Get Help for Cannabis Plants Problems as Quickly as Possible!

Hello, new to growing and everything that has to do with it. I’ve looked online and I’m getting a lot of different things. So I’m not really sure if this is normal or not. I decided to come ask the pros opinion after days of looking. Is the stem normal on this? Thanks in advance!

Hi, we’ve got an outdoor plant that the stock is turning gray and the colas are sticky and gooey, the plant looks very weak and has been struggling for some time. Any ideas what this may be snd if it can be fixed? Thanks

Sorry, botrytis (bud rot) is not recoverable, anything that can kill it is way to strong for the plant. Keep it dry, no moisture on the area affected, do not let it spread to the buds as they will be ruined. If the trics are at least milky it may be time to harvest.

Thank you. We flushed the plant and rinsed it off real good and the discoloration at the bottom seemed to disappear. We are transplanting it to new soil as well. It’s an outdoor plant so it shouldn’t want to be going into flowering yet, what do you think of the gooey, stickiness of the colas? Do you think it does have bud rot even if the coloration at the bottom of the stock was able to be washed away? We have moved the plant so in case it does have something it can’t infect any others. Also of note, this plant was topped and then placed in a greenhouse about 6 weeks ago, it was really really healthy and the colas were getting huge but the next day the greenhouse had massive high temps before we could get the plant out so it did go through a few hours of extreme heat and it just hadn’t recovered since. I am still wondering why it had colas that early on to begin with? In any event, the plant is still alive and growing slowly.

Correction, the gray color came back on the bottom of the stock to the 3rd nodes and then stock turns bright green.

Been getting rid of fungus gnats for a month or more in a 2x4 tent 10 gallon bag. It should be in flower but waiting until gnats are gone. Is it worth still taking the time to flower after so much stress to the roots? Just looking for some opinions. Was trying the manifold on this one. Debating on just putting it outside and starting over in tent

Hiya Scooby. Gnats are a bother but some soils just harbor them and when the soil gets wet they show up. I've had them before but usually die off. It does not look bad or over stressed, it's a photo correct? How old is this plant, what's your grow soil like? How strong is the light your using? Give more info.

Yeah I had it outside in a tent which is why it got bad. Yes just a photo seed from a friend well I assume. The plants 3 months old now so.. soil has earth dust in it with electric sky 300 on not even half power. I’ve let the soil dry out and been using neem drench every few days and even diatomaceous earth. Like I said the gnats almost gone but will buds fill out the same in this condition. It’s still growing but lacking for sure..

Scooby I had gnats while in flower. My closet was jammed full at harvest, huge buds and great smoke when cured. Pics below, I covered the soil with perlite and used the yellow sticky pads. GL!

Thanks that’s positive good idea on the perlite. But yours looked good going into flower we’re the gnats a problem then during veg? I top dressed boost a week ago so should flip to 12 here

Hi, the leaves are green but not dark green. Lighting in pictures can affect the color also. Without knowing strain, lighting/distance (are they growing outdoors?) soil medium, watering, etc it's hard. I see the middle seedling dry around the middle in the pot. They're young, they're growing, are they autos? If in coco coir how much % perlite is in there? Might need cal-mag.

I'm only finishing my 2nd indoor grow but that doesn't look like wind burn. Drastic difference overnight. You have a nice little spot there. Hopefully an OG will chime in to help. Good luck!

It looks like the issue is more with your broad leafed (more indica dominat) plants. Is this the case?
Are they all getting the same amount of nutes and water or are you playing it by feel and watering as the growing medium 'feels' like it needs it?

Often different strains require different amounts of nutrients and water. However, as a side note the rapid onset 'could be' related to root issues.

My initial assessment is over watering and nutrient imbalance. I would suggest

• flushing your affected plants with RO water that has been ph balanced to around 6 and has 1tsp of hydrogen peroxide per gallon. Run enough liquid so that your growing medium is completely flushed of nutrients.
• Next I would cut off the affected leaves, your plant will expend energy trying to fix them and it can't, at this point they're doing more harm than good.
• Before you water the plant again make sure the growing medium is dry or barely damp to a depth of the second joint of your index finger.
• For the first watering of the recovering plant(s) us ph balanced water with two tsp of hydrogen peroxide per gallon

I find that very few things are actual 'over night' they just appear that way when things reach a tipping point. Looking at your girls with fresh eyes each time you see them is easier said than done, but, for me; I find that when I pay closer attention and don't get complacent - the girls do better.

She's a bit stretched out, but other than that she looks good to me. The stem will fatten up as she grows. Nice set-up BTW

Need a helping hand from all you pro’s

I’ve recently started to have an issue with my 12 outdoor plants. They have been in the ground for a couple of months now doing very well. Use grow big by fox farm and fish sh*t for the soil giving a recharge about every 3 weeks. I haven’t added anything in the last 3 weeks due to being so wet. The soil I used was Maine coastal platinum. Plants have been doing very well until last week. Not sure what my issue is . Here’s some pictures I took today. Any advice would be appreciated very much as I feel like I’m losing them.
