Besides the compost are you adding anything to this? Yellowing at that point is generally a nitrogen deficiency. The two small leaves that first come out will yellow and fall off. The rest of the plant looks like nitrogen def. However unless you know what is in the fertilizer, I would pick up a nutrient line and use 1/2 dose for a while.

Also, you shouldn't need to bubble the water unless your doing hydroponics. I would just let the water sit out for a day to have the chlorine evaporate over night, add your nutes and water afterwards ensuring it is water water nutes.

I second bud rot. look for mold.

Best bet is to cut the bud. It will pass to other portions via spores if not dealt with, and will amass in damp areas.

I would look at raising your humidity. Looks to be on the low side. Aim for at least 60% while in Veg.

Help! Possible nitrogen tox and heat stress?
I was using floraseries at half strength with a 400 mh in a 2x5x5 humidity has been between 40-50% and temps no more than 81. I was away for a bit and had someone watching over them. This is them before and after. 5gal dwc with airstones

I would say its n deficiency in first pic,the leaves look like they do at the end of a grow as the plants use there remaining N ,In the second picture if I had a leaf that looked like that one in the center ,I would cut it dry it and frame it lol that is one cool looking leaf

You may want to separate the two plants in one pot, by the time they go to flower, that 5 gallon bucket will have no room to accommodate the root ball and the competition for space will likely cause problems

I use the flora series at one third strength, they seem to be responding well. I also use calmag and Hydroguard. I would flush them, (replant into individual nets) and go back with a weaker solution.

2 of the leaves are bent at an angle, minimal clawing, leaves hanging downward I've noticed some clawing(like a taco)especially on the larger plant and wilting.

Im growing 9 plants outdoors in pots, some sativa some indica. I live in BC Canada, weve had a few cold nights and theyve been fine but now its supposed to go to about -3°C and I'm wondering if they do freeze will it ruin the buds if I cut them down immediately the next day if they dont look good.
its supposed to be warmer the next few days after as well.

can you cover them with something the hard frost will kill them ,and trimming up frosted plant is a pain

I have a Northern Lights Auto that is about 60 days old and is showing signs of a deficiency. A handfull of the leaves have brown spots on them and the leaves seem to be yellow in between the veins. The leaves all seem to be a little lighter green than they should be as well. The plant is also growing very slowly. I am not sure if this is calmag or manganese deficiency or possibly something else. It seems to be getting worse.
I am growing in coco/perlite, watering every day with GH flora series nutes, and I do supplement with GH calmag and Armor Si. I have extremely hard water (around 360 ppm) so I cut it with distilled or R/O water to bring it down to around 150-200 ppm. She has been getting around 1.5ml of cal mag (I assumed my hard water would be supplementing calmag some) and for the last couple waterings Ive bumped it up to 3ml/g, but it still seems to be spreading. I use pH drops to test the inflow and have been watering with yellow-yellow green so I should be in the correct pH range. I do feed daily to run off. The run off pH is always orange.
I just started testing PPM/EC last week and the run off was always lower than the inflow. I slowly increased my nutes and now for the past few waterings the EC difference has been +45 & +220, the PPM has been +21 & +103 (around 600PPM). I believe this is in a good range and am trying to stabilize them a little more. Im not familiar with what range of PPM difference you want for your plant, but I know EC is within +300 so thats what I've been following.
I'm afraid to up the calmag and overload the PPMs for my plant. I have epsom salt I have thought about adding as well, but I think the main issue is a calcium deficiency. Could I be getting a calcium lock out from my hard water? I have recently started feeding with every watering (for about a week and a half now) so its been a minute since she's had plain water. Could the calcium be locked out from salt buildup (even though my outflow readings seem fine)? Not really sure what to do from here as this is my first grow so any advice would be much appreciated.

Flush them a few times. Add cal after you flush really good. Epson salt works to. Add it to your water to de-solve before watering 1Table spoon for each gallon. Looks like over feeding and the pot might be to small and you have rot lock. I would also trim the fan leaves so you get more nutrients to you buds

I'm having a dire issue. When I first started growing.. I took clones from mother and put directly into soil with root gel. Success rate about 40 to 50%.

Then I got a clone machine. Success rate 90%.

My success rate is down to 10 or 20%. I'm worried I'm not gonna have any mothers left.


I keep getting withered.. brown spots on leaves. Then they just die. Usually all within 7 days after transplanting from clone machine to 2in cups with soil/perlite.
I use RO water.. always. I've tried using a little..tiny amount of miracle grow.. but usually just ph 6.5 water.

I'm going to post several pics. It looks really dirty.. noted. But it was after transplants too.

I'm wondering if I'm not putting them far enough away from the fluorescent t4 bulbs?
Please help anyone!
