I only grow DWC/ Hydro, with the help of these great guys it was figured out of lights being too close and running the agressive veg nut mix. Foil was for a extra layer of light blocking. In hydro no light can enter the res where the water sits or it grows bacteria and alge. per the setup its a 5x5 tent indoors, 1000 watt led and dwc. after raising the light a few inchs and flushing out the tubs and resetting with a medium nut mix they went back to their normal selves

why do you think the leaves are getting light green on the center of the plant? thanks

IMHO they look fine . When they grow in they should even put on the color . I wouldn’t stress it unless they start to turn yellow or brown or show other signs of stress .

With that said , if the problem gets worse it could be a nutrition lock out or deficiency but it’s hard Diagnose without more information such as lights medium nutes ppm/eco and ph .

But tbh IMO I think they look just fine .

Nice plant, are you using cal-Mag ? It kinda looks like potassium def. To me.
I believe i would increase the nutrients a little bit,

There is Calcium in my soil already, and I use Mg bb roots / foliage.
I thinks she is hungry, they advice to check the in/out ppm to check her stomach..

Checking your run off ppm is more about keeping salt build up down . Your run off could be 10x the feeding ppm and that doesn’t mean there is a bunch of nutes in the soil . More likely you have a bunch of salt left behind from the nutes .

Hi everyone! This is my first post as I usually just do a search and usually someone has had my problem. I'm a Kentucky boy with my crop in the back yard. I planted some starts with seeds I got from ACE. 2 strains, 4 plants tilled soil that had compost. One plant died a horrible death about a week ago and I think it was squash bugs from our garden but I am posting a couple of pictures of the plant that was beside that one. I need some help. I am a first-time grower. I am growing two Northern Lights auto flower. I have some discoloring on one of my plants and trying to figure out what it is. The second plant under the same conditions I don’t seem to be having issues with. In fact, the plant with the discoloring is growing faster than the one that looks healthy. I don’t know if I overwatered the young plants to early and being I am using Fox Farm Ocean Forest if it made it hot or if I am dealing with someone more serious like Mosaic. Below is what I am using in my setup. I have included 3 pictures of the plant in question and 3 of the one that looks good.

Fox Farm Ocean Forrest
3-gallon Fabric pots
Viparspectra 300W LED (started at 26 inches and worked down to 20 inches currently.
4inch carbon filter/outtake fan
One small oscillating tower.
One small 4inch fan near the intake angled slightly up
Temps 79-82 Day temps
Humidity 50-60%
Using tap water and PH down to 6

Purple leaf tips, normal or P deficiency?!
I'm a few weeks into flower, first year growing and not sure if I'm dealing with a deficiency or if all is well. I am aware of the nutrient burn on some of the leaves but I feel I may be overdoing it due to fear of underfunding. This was a bagseed and if I'm not mistaken came from a bag of purple kush. Any feedback is appreciated! Growing in southern ontario and it is getting a little cooler at night as well.

The cold can play a part in purple leaves. What's the temps like? If they're not used to the cold it can very well be temp.

Nights are dipping down to mid-low 60's with mid-high 80's during the day. Only plant out of the 3 showing this symptom as well.
