Tips for Getting the Best Answers

Please include the following in your post:
  1. Title Quickly Explains the Problem - Examples: "Leaves are turning yellow" or "Leaves are getting spots and plant is droopy" or "Hydroponic grow, roots look brown"
  2. Choose "HELP!" Prefix - Next to the title, you have the option to add a Prefix to your post. Change yours to "HELP!" to let other growers know you have an urgent problem.
  3. (Important!!!) Pictures - A picture of your problem and a picture of the plant in the setup.
  4. Description of the Problem, and when you first noticed it. What are the symptoms? What do you think the problem might be? Did you do anything different or notice anything unusual before the problem started happening?
  5. Your Setup - It helps to include information about the growing medium, nutrients, grow light, etc
Note: If you have an emergency, try searching for "Growweedeasy + desired topic" on Google.com. We often have a page that can help!

I got some funky looking thing going with some leaves from my latest grow, thoughts and advice is most welcome

Set Up: DWC/ Hydro
- One plant per container
- 10 gal tubs with 6 gal water in each
- topfin 8000 air pump made for 170 gal aquarium
- 1000 watt LED 24 inchs from top of plants, 18/6 light schedule
- General Hydroponics nutrients (change out of fresh nutrients and water every 2 weeks with a water top off the week in between)
- 4x4x8 Grow tent sitting in air conditioned room (72 day/ 65 night) temps F
- 9 inch fan blowing in thru bottom duct (not directly on plants)
- Grow tent temp of 68-72 degrees F
- PH of 6.1, 6.2, 6.3

Wife started these in aero garden waiting on LED and TENT to come in, they got a lil root rot from debris left in bottom. cut old infected roots off when switched them to tubs/tent/LED and new grew in pretty and healthy. a few fuzzy white flies (one a day) was killed gnawing on them until they went into the sealed grow tent. Lately started seeing this weird thing going on with the leaves, Any insight on whats going on is much appriciated!

*Today i took out 1 1/2 gal of water from each tub and replaced with 1 1/2 gal of fresh water and re PH'ed them down to 5.7-5.8 to see if this would help any*

na, nothing is directly in front of the fan but the tubs, the air passes between the tubs and bounces off the wall to create a slight breeze. I had someone mention today root crown rott, not exactly sure what he was refuring too tho and the main roots are all nice and white and pretty

looks like it may be stem rott, ill know tomorrow when i pull the stones out and check the bottom of stem . hopefully if it is it has been a educational experiance for others also

your "expert Gardner potting soil contain fertilizers/nutrients? Many do and this can cause various symptoms. pH measurements of your runoff water is critical. But even more critical is PPM (Parts per million). Don't make the mistake I did by not monitoring PPM/EC and burning to near death my entire grow. Over watering, pH / PPM for me were the hardest thing to learn and apply.

looks like over watering. drooping wilting. This also looks like the container is too large for the size of your plant. which means your giving it more water because you have more soil. Thus the over watering issue. And regarding your leaf curl, could be the beginning of nutrient concerns. What is your grow medium and does it contain added NPK and have you started your nutrient feeding program yet?
