Germinating with LED's

what would be the light distance distance for a 300 watt LED ? (28 inches?) and a 45 watt LED panel (12by12) 12 inches? never used for germinating - any one with experience --Thanks !!!!!!

I set a 300w LED at 28-29" from the soil and let the plant grow up to the LED as it matures.
