SOIL Gender help

I was checking gender today in my garden cause things are finally starting to show but idk what this is it had another one next to it but I plucked it to examine last night and the other side of the stock is still bare

That odd growth looks like a random bud site to me. I've had it on a few of mine too.

But a stem/bud site growing from where the calyx usually grows?

Think of it as a birth defect or a mutation. Google cannabis plant mutations I'm sure there's plenty of images out there because I've seen a few without Google

Maybe we should start a " Weed Mutant Go Fund Me Page" lately we sure been getting odd looking MJ seedlings.

Yes ma'am... I believe there's a giant population spike in breeders and they're crossing so much that the genetics are getting pushed sideways or something

I cant wait for next season this is my first season growing and the only genetics i have for sure is my cheese fem that mutated from seedsman bonus seeds but my other 20 plants and "bag" seed i know that strain that most of the seeds came from but i dont know what pollinated then if it was a hermie from stress/genetics or if a male got close enough no idea most likely a hermie but who know bur next year im buying my seeds and im going to only run a few photos but mainly autos a few times a month starting in late feb early march and harvest hopefully around 50 plants next year by the end of the seasons cause my indoor is limited enough to pop seeds veg enough to pop outside so if a bug eats a leaf its not a goner and i have 1 small auto growing in my i guess you could call it a nursery
