GDP and spider mites?

Rwise

I have been doing some research on GDP, and I find info that said it is very susceptible to spider mites when grown outdoor. Crap these pests are everywhere here, and I would be spraying in flower.
So, all y'all that have grown GDP outside, did you have to battle these pests for your buds?
The reason for the research was I was going to use it to breed with, but I dont want to chance carrying that this threat forward,,,

I suppose I will know for certain by the end of the year. IF she attracts bugs badly, I may just chop it down and send her to compost,,,

Not really much you can do with outdoor grows...one reason why indoor grows are becoming more popular. I had spider mites on my Wedding cake strain (indoor). Rater than using pesticide (there are organic ones too) I dragged it to the garage and sprayed it from the underside of the leaves (where they lay eggs) with a pump/pressurized garden sprayer. It did the trick although I had to tie up some branches cause the buds got water logged and started drooping badly!

Good luck!

I have much better luck outdoors than indoors. 40+ years outdoor won't ever give it up indoors it's a winter hobby for me. Rwise yes they were a disappointment, but i'm going for more just not that strain LOL
