Fridge for growbox

I broke the inner wall of my fridge this weekend. Was t really me, but not lookout post blame. Anyway, has anyone ever gutted a fridge and used it as a grow box? I am seriously considering it, unless of course, there a good reason not to. I just know it would look clandestine as hell.

Now that you've told me you have a refrigerator you can turn into a grow box, I will call you a fool if you do not turn it into a grow box. A fool, I say!
I imagine you'll keep it closed all the time since there is nothing at all clandestine about growing dope in an open refrigerator. It'll require serious ventilation.
Take a look at Space Buckets.

Gingerbeard, True ventilation could be an issue, but I haven’t gotten fully involved in it yet, though I’m thinking if I can rig the refrigeration portion to keep my temps right, I am relatively sure I can make ventilation work, most likely have to go 6 or 8 inch though

You have me thinking about lining the inside of the box with copper tubing from other refrigerators and running coolant through them.

Guess I’m back to studying, since a new fridge is a bit off. Still trying to convince the other half how unsightly that crack is and we need a new one. Just think of how the food feels having to look at it. I haven’t told her the light goes off when the door shuts. But honestly the idea is really marinating. Absolutely kicking myself for not keeping every fridge I’ve ever gotten rid of, working or not.

You're a man. Put duct tape over it. It will solve your issue, as a man, and the natural unattractiveness of duct tape to women will help convince your other half to buy a new refrigerator.
That, my friend, is how you handle women: duct tape!

Ahh, Gingerbeard, revealer of the mysteries. Couldn’t tell me that years ago. Back then I had duct tape in many different colors. Could have been festive even
