Freezing rain

Freezing rain winter storm hitting missouri. They are using beet juice and salt on the roads. Best just stay home and keep warm.

Here in Arizona it will be 74 above and sunny. Here in my town we watch snow and ice on the Discovery channel

I live in the Northeast, never heard of beet juice used on the roads.

I'm with Insomniaczzz... beet juice??? They just spray and spread salt around here. Just went through our first snow last week. Roads are still white from all the salt!!

they said it helps hold the salt to road and it's natural.

I like natural. Can't take my dog for a walk after roads are plowed and rock salt is everywhere!!
