freaky color

Yea, I didn't think it was going to make it. Had to help mine with the helmet. LOL. It sit still for about a week until it did anything. Sloooow. think this one is around 50 days -+ 5. Clearly these take a special kind of care that i don't know.

I think Going2fast nailed it. Has to be a special environment needed. I got same results with germination. 1 out of 2 for me. Mine were free from Seedman. Still tending to it. Hope it taste better than it grows. I'm sure someone else can make it produce better.

This will be my 4th year doing Freaks outdoors and patience in the beginning is absolutely essential.
They tend to languish for a time, then suddenly they go crazy. Last year had two go over 7 foot.
Even the sun leaves will have trichomes, so save that trim for sift. BTW: Try planting the seeds a little
deeper in soil and that will help with helmet head.

I knew someone here had the low down on the freak. Its already got trichomes on the buds and leaves at 50+ days.Thought they were a bit early. Patience is definitely a key component to this girts growth pattern. Deeper on the seed it is for the freak.

Well if i can take a pic without it being to blury i'll post it cause she still has not opened up like a normal one. It's been at least 6days if not more. Still got that shepards hook looking top

I had 2 side by side and the both had issues with getting straight up. When they did finally open, one of them closed up and died. All with in 2 weeks. A deeper seed depth is the key to germination like crucialbunny stated.

She is putting on a little freak show. I think i have stunted this one. It prevailed and is trying.

Sturdy funky strain she's at least growing and flowering. I can't get mine going it's still way off mark, i'm not quitting on it yet it's just sitting under the little t-5 doing nothing. At least 3wks old now i'm kinda attached to it but i can't put it out of it's misery yet.

I have zero experience growing Freaks under lights so it could be a completely different ballgame for you and SoOrbudgal. I also grow in 30 gallon bags of living soil so I don't use any nutrients other than a molasses watering on occasion to keep my microbes happy.

All i'm doing at this point is trying to bring it into living an growing but it's just so slow or sick had that 1/2 helmet stuck to 1 colyondon (beaver paddle leaf ) for 3 days it's still got a bruse on that leaf but i don't know if it's that or what. I would of stuck it outdoors that's the plan but i thought i'd get a month or so jump on it? All my other seedlings are getting 2nd sets of leaf and this barely shows and 1st set ? It's messed up but i'm leaving it under it's little light and moving on with the others.

Typically I keep the babes in widow light for up to a month before giving them an outdoor home. They start slow . . . . then, boom. I just set 4 Freaks to germinate today. Two for me and the others for friends. Will start some GS Cookies, Vanilla Frosting, and Sherbet Fast in a couple weeks. Sounds like I'm gonna open a bakery huh? I always do a couple bag seeds as well to stay true to my early roots.

Love some bag seed, about non existent here unless you get low grade swag. Had some decent buds come from hermies and ditch weed. Little tlc goes a long way with nature.

Well this morning i really had a good look at it under a magnifirer and only one of those colyondon is damaged but i do see now some very tiny first set of leaf trying so like i say i'll keep it going. My small little t-5 just keeps them happy crucialbunny they don't grow quick but linger for few weeks then i transplant and they go into 1gal under a larger CFL for a week then into my big tent to veg in there till it's safe to put outdoors.
Yes they really take off in the tent but they need it here in my enviornment prior to setting out.

This is a brand new rodeo for me. first time with seeds bought from a breeder. potency is better but i lack in yield .

Well dang she's a funky gal I like it !! Mine is barely a nickle size top LOL slow as can be she's gotta be close to month old i gave her a squirt of fish&bat poo juice couple days ago. Funny plant

keep her happy. I didn't LST much. Mine got hard stems. Id grow again. Skinny leaves lets alot of light in.
