Oh! It's these plants!
First, take a look at the main website on how to clone. That's pretty much what you did. As it is, what you have in the water probably won't do anything. It needs some trimming. But it absolutely can work! Look online to see if you might have something around the house you can use as an emergency cloning hormone. Aloe has been my go-to when cloning non-cannabis plants.
Second, start slowly with the nutrients and watch for burn. You can't go wrong with starting half strength and deciding if you want to up the dose. Check the main website, too, on when and what to look for in sexing the plant. When you start noticing female parts, start the bloom nutrients.
What I got from the website chart is to feed up to two times a week. Not feed twice a week. Feeding every time can put you in line for nutrient toxicities. Too much nutrient/water will drown your plants. Lots of folks alternate plain water with nutrients. That helps with toxicity. But the timing on when to start each looks pretty good.
Above all, your plants are going to tell you what they want and what they don't want. Keep your eyes out for changes.
