Hello! I've heard someone mention (not from here) that by using a mix of Fox Farms Ocean and Happy Frog that there will be (should be) enough nutrients in soil to take your grow through veg. Is there any truth to that? And once nutes are needed are the Fox Farm Trio the best to use or is there better. I really want to go all out on my next grow.
 
Yes it's true. Actually, you should be able to take it all the way through to harvest, not just through veg. Of course, I'm sure it depends on how big you grow your plant(s). The bigger they are, the more chance that you may have to feed them towards the end. Hope that helps.
 
I use that mix in my grow day 4 of flower still haven't fed them. I also repotted a weekd and a half before the flip to 12/12 with an additional 5 gallons of the ff mix. I doubt I will have to feed but if I do it will still be a ways off.
 
I'm using happy frog 30% and strawberry fields 70% , fox farms soil. I'm only on week 2.5 but I have fed mine also with no burning.
 
I use FFoF and FFhF. I am no expert on it but I just let the plant tell me if they need more so far I haven't seen any indication of lack of nutrients. The only thing I give other than water is black strap molasses unsulfered.
 
I've used straight out of the bag Happy Frog for awhile with Fox Farm Trio on their recommended feeding schedule I've added the schedule... on my last grow I added Bembe their schedule.... I didn't have a problem and got 26 ounces off 6 plants... I know that's not record numbers but everyone who smoked it was amazed and didn't believe that I grew it. The ol lady said it's better than store bought by far and I know I got ripped when I did the trimming because I forgot gloves and I mean ripped but it doesn't take much for me I don't smoke hell I get high when I water lol

I utilize their soil, but not their synthetic nutrients. Just grower preference, not knocking the trio nutrient line. Organic soil auto grower.
 
I use the FFoF and FFhF together. Mostly. I start feeding after a the first few weeks of veg and back off if they show any signs of excess. I really like the liquid nute line-up. Way better than the powder alone.
