Sorry, been a pest with these two Mango plants past 3 weeks. Its not that I'm rushing, which actually I am with my 27 plants, but its these two that have been behaving strangely while all other plants including my other Autos are fine. I was originally asking when to flush and was following instructions to a "T" when I discovered all the leafs on the plant are drying up, dying, folding in. PH, Nute Burn, isn't the issue, I believe they went way past ready because the pictures I posted a week ago turned out to be unreliable because they show white flowers, yet were really brown and entire plant is like this, or was till today where more white showed up but the entire plant is losing a lot of leafs so wondering, should I trim the leafs now while I been basically flushing a week. They only got PH water, they were supposed to get food today, but skipping. Here are the pictures again, sorry to be a pest, the leafs show their health, don't rely on the pictures of the flowers, they are not white. I am getting an 18MP camera next week so deal with the crappy cell I been using and my real camera used for other pictures is only 5mp(Mega Pixels) Anyway, should I trim the leafs off while they are still on the plant/? Every leaf is hard and starting to get crumbly.

My first attempt on trimming, and thanks Green75 for the confirmation. Looks a bit different from other pictures I have seen, then again its a Mango plant. I put everything I trimmed into a bag. figure I try making oil with it later.
I just discovered why the two plants are dying. I'm a bit shocked as its the one thing I don't see under issues but grateful none of my other plants were effected. The root system was severely under developed, and it wasn't the pot restricting either. Took the soil out to reuse it which was when I removed the clump of roots and realized, this is all that was sustaining the plant? Least I managed to get one good main branch and about 5 popcorn mini branches. Saved everything in a big ziplock bag. Going to make oil with that tonight. Unless, do you need to cure the leafs or is cooking those without curing and drying ok?

lol, nonono. I'm not drying the bud in a bag. What I trimmed off the plant I put into a bag. The bud itself is hanging on a line to dry by a dehumidifier.

The second small plant, had one big section, and a few smaller. Trimmed them down a bit. The popcorn ones were the most annoying. I am so glad my other plants look much better than this. But its a start being my first, plus was a freebie. Go figure, now I notice this one picture shows the pistils brown and curling in. Not sure why all the others appeared white.

Well there was no mention of it being in the freezer which would then be the better option. I thought it was trimmings sweating away in a plastic bag out in a room somewhere
 
I found out today the main cause of these two plants that were dying due to root issues. Basically the roots never got a chance to develop as the plant aged due to several issues. One was keeping the plant too long in a small container , which was also clear. That hurt it a lot, but worse, the roots were decayed by a bacteria similar to root rot which in a moment, will actually answer a question many asked before. This bacteria and actually fungus as well was not caused by over watering or improper air flow. This was caused by using water that is both not safe for human consumption nor as I just found out, good for plants whether used for food or smoking, the overall consequences is a dead or crippled plant/
What was the cause? Using water from a DEHUMIDIFIER. The one I use is only 3 months old, but after reading up on a few articles, the water is really only good for flushing a toilet or calibrating a PH meter. Using water from a dehumidifier on plants is bad because not only does it carry contaminant's from the coils that pull the moisture out of the air, they evidentially start growing mold and fungus inside which you most likely wont see, but end up in the water. Luckily I only used this on 5 plants, and 4 of them are already dead. The 5th is still alive and not sick because of the treatment's I used on it which prevented it from getting the same infections the other 4 had died from/. For now I will only use the water for calibration purposes plus will dip the meters in a solution that will kill all bacteria preventing it from infecting other plants, but in the end, if you were curious on if its good or not to use dehumidifier water on plants, it most definitely is not.
 
Here in the desert we have to ADD HUMIDITY to our air. Normal reading runs about 16% so its crispy for sure. We use a HUMIDIFIER here to raise RH I have a large one designed for the WHOLE HOME. When I add water to my HUMIDIFIER I also add a cap full or two of Humidifier Bacteriostat to the water. This is necessary to protect our health as well as keep the woodwork from cracking. I use Distilled water for my plant EXPENCIVE ? yes but no mold or other containments that could damage my medicine.
 
You might want to invest in a distiller if you use a lot of distilled water. Amazon has a lot of different models which pretty much pays for themselves quite fast if you use a lot of water. Especially if you have to PH balance after. My plants use 12 to 16 gallons of water a week. That's about $832 a year. I also just discovered that I was wasting my time buying distilled water because the water was definitely not distilled. I'm beginning to believe they are using tap water because my chemical test kit found just about every chemical you find in tap water. Even the container once dried showed hard water evidence so stopped using it and started using regular bottled water I treat with PH down and sometimes food for the plants and so far have not seen any changes whatsoever in my plants growing behavior using either bottled or distilled.
