Flushing Hydro before harvest..

So I'm on my last month before my very 1st harvest and I'm wondering how long I should flush my plants...? Everything so far has been flawless and I'd hate to screw it up at the end. I was going to do the last 2 weeks with no nutes. 1st week just water and the last week with florakleen. As I've gotten close to harvest I've been doing more and more reading and there seems to be mixed ideas about how long to flush. Some people say 4 days others say at least a week...

Malphas there are mixed thought on everything about growing weed haha I grow in coco my friend in hydro I flush with floraclean after I have about 30% amber trics then I give them plain water thats phed untill harvest. my friend flushes with just water .he changes his res. to straight water so all the plants get is water after a couple of days their clean. the important thing is to only flush after they are ready .Mix of cloudy to amber trichromes . More cloudy will give a head high and amber a body high the choice is yours .enjoy send some pics we love pics.

Very nice looking! I took those 3 pic's on tuesday at 32 days into flower. Thanks for the info man. I will push back the flush til I see some amber. Atm they are completely clear.

Howdy Malphas, I grow in DWC and had not been flushing until the last grow (fifth one). I will never harvest again without flushing first! It has made a great difference in the quality, smoothness, and has reduced the time for curing. I used the GH FloraKleen (2 tsp/gal) for four days then only plain pH'ed water for three more days. This crop after five weeks curing in jars, is smoother than the last crop (not flushed) was after four months in the jars!
